Fall in Love with this magnificent five bedroom St. Rémy-de-Provence estate, with its glorious garden full of lavender and roses, olive trees, and vine-coved corners for reading a book, or a romantic interlude. There are not one, but two summer kitchens; one near the pool for poolside entertaining, and another kitchen with dining tables and sitting area with comfortable sofas, table and chairs in a shaded corner amidst the lavender and the vines. The exceptional Heated Pool is a full 18 meters long and is complemented by comfortable sun beds and umbrellas.
Inside, the creative talents, and pure good taste, of the owners, shines through. The Reception rooms combine a sense of modern and sleek design with classic Provence warmth and welcome. A large room with fireplace has a long glass wall that will open completely to the outdoors for summer living. Shelter in front of the fireplace for cosy, cooler evenings. Again, there are two kitchens inside, and lots of table settings to entertain a crowd in style. There is a separate dining room in a beautiful blue for more formal inside dining. Don’t worry, we can organise a cook. The house kitchen is of sleek design, with no less than two dishwashers.
There is one bedroom downstairs with Queen bed and bathroom. Upstairs, there are 4 extremely comfortable bedrooms, one with queen, one with standard double bed, and two with king beds, one of which can be made as twins. There are 4 bathrooms, so two bedrooms share one, while the others enjoy a private bathroom.
It’s just a 15 minute walk to the centre of St.Remy-de-Provence, a charming village with countless fine restaurants from casual to elegant, great boutiques, cafes, and markets. With a location in one of the most interesting parts of Provence to visit, anyone who stays here will have a tough decision – to go out and explore, or to stay in and enjoy this piece of heaven. The property itself is tough competition for the charms of the local sights at St.Remy, Avignon, Aix-en Provence, L’Ile-sur-la-Sorgue, Eygalières, Beaucaire, Les Baux-de-Provence, and Arles. Do not forget that the lovely Mediterranean coast is less than an hour away.
