Situated in the foothills of the Pyrenees near the medieval village of Castelnou, and 10 minutes from the historic market town of Thuir. Set in half an acre, this Catalan stone mas has a spacious living area, which opens onto a south-facing terrace with private pool. Stunning uninterrupted views from the Mediterranean in the east to Mt Canigou in the west. Comfortable accommodation for four people with a mezzanine double bedroom accessed via a spiral staircase (not suitable for the elderly or very young) and a twin bedded room off the living area. There is also a sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Idyllic location for a peaceful holiday in the sunniest area of France. Perpignan 12 miles, Mediterranean and the Spanish border 20 miles.
