La Chataigneraie is a very nice place, beautifully renovated in the countryside of Deux-Sèvres. A great place to gather with large families or groups of friends. We were hosted very well by Philippe who was present and provided good advice throughout our stay. We were spread over three adjoining cottages with a beautiful common room. About 1 hour from Futuroscope and 1 hour 20 minutes from Puy du Fou for those who love large parks. On the restaurant side, if we were disappointed by the restaurant l'Ardoise in Augé, we recommend the restaurant la Citadelle in the beautiful medieval town of Parthenay. A good stay enjoyed by all.

We had reserved the chestnut grove to reunite our family, who were scattered all over France. It was a total success, the cottage is really suitable for accommodating adults and children, the pool is a plus and we were lucky to be able to enjoy it, the photos of the small estate are quite realistic, no outside noise, surface and a beautiful renovation.
In case... the air conditioning in all the rooms is appreciable. Philippe was waiting for us at the appointed time and checked in throughout the stay. Patrick also regularly sent short messages.

We had an absolutely perfect 3-day stay at the Châtaigneraie cottages! The setting is magnificent, in the heart of nature, ideal for recharging your batteries and enjoying the calm. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, with everything you need to feel at home.
A big thank you to Philippe, the manager, who welcomed us with great kindness. Always available, attentive and helpful, he really helped make our stay even more enjoyable. You can feel that he loves what he does, and it is reflected in the warm atmosphere of the place.
We highly recommend this place, whether for a weekend with friends or family. We'll be happy to go back!

We were 13 adults from all over the world looking for the perfect accommodation and location to meet up, and this property offered us that. The 3 separate cottages allowed us to have our privacy while still allowing us to interact. The pool was a great focal point and we found nice walks from the accommodation and a very short drive away. Each cottage had everything we needed, and more, and were situated in a very peaceful setting.

We had a glorious stay at Patrick's place. As 3 families with young kids, it was a perfect combo of 'having our own space' while having lots of communal space and a big family feel. Everything was in great shape and it was truly peaceful. Philippe was really friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!
