Superb Family-Run Hotel in Fréhel, Côtes-d’Armor Reviews

Excellent place to stay with very good hosts Jerome and Sandra. A good location to explore from with lovely coastal villages nearby. Plus excelent child friendly beaches. An easy drive from the port of St Malo. Dinan well worth a visit Very comfortable room with cleaners in every day (except Sundays) Relaxed breakfasts in the garden or large conservatory. Good value for money. An honesty bar for evening drinks. No evening meals; though good choices in Sable d'or five minute drive.

What a wonderful place, our room, although not facing the sea view, was lovely, very comfortable very clean - yes the shower room was small but very well appointed, excellent shower beautiful fittings. The building itself is stunning both inside and out beautiful exposed stone and a lovingly restored and beautiful staircase. Lots of good parking and the lawned grounds and stunning views over the lake and sea make it a magical place to stay. Breakfast was a delight, sat outside under the black walnut tree and had beautiful breads, croissant, cheese, ham and preserves. Wonderful!!!

This is a beautiful place and Jerome and Sandra are excellent hosts. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was top quality, using plenty of locally-sourced ingredients. We will definitely be returning!
