Self-Catering Mediterranean Gite in Occitanie

Le Mediterranean is a wonderful studio gite situated in the Occitanie department. It is a tranquil area but not isolated, and very well exposed, with beautiful scenery all around. The Tour of Southern Larzac passes through the village, making it very popular with walkers and mountain bikers, for its 105 km of  trails, offering a wide range of breathtaking landscapes in all seasons. 

The magnificent Lake Salagou is a stones´throw away and it is a paradise for the more adventurous amongst you! Water activities available include sailing, paddle boarding, kite surfing, canyoning, swimming and fishing. For the Sport enthusiasts, the area is perfect for running and cycling as there are many forest trails and beautiful stretches of wild grass, offering incredible views such as Cirque de Navacelles. 

The Mediterranean is a very charming studio, with breathtaking views over the village of Soubès and its two castles.

Boasting Mediterranean decor throughout, the property offers a double bed, ensuite bathroom with shower bath, and separate WC.

It also consists of a kitchenette with sliding windows and it is very bright and ventilated.

There are several fishing rivers closeby such as Lergue and Brèze, in addition to the magnificent gorges of the Hérault (suitable for Canoeing). The cottage is also very close to the Mediterranean Sea, Sète, Agde, Vias, and even the famous Canal du Midi ... with climbing, horseback riding, paragliding, and even speleology available!
