Lovely Holiday Chateau in Saunieres, Burgundy, France
After the great success of the past two years with the Château de Lans and Castle Mercurey, we made the acquisition in September 2010 for Villa Saunières.
We had a liking for this home rental located in a green setting, in a small village on the edge of "Doubs". We undertook a renovation of high quality as we have done for our other areas, and Villa Saunières opened since Saturday, May 28, 2011.
It is an exceptional rental for 12 people (6 bedrooms). This manor house and its outbuilding, with a total area of 540m2, benefiting from an exceptional location in the heart of Southern Burgundy and the Jura doors.
The villa is located in the quiet village of Saunières, just meters from the river "Doubs" which will delight fishermen.
Access to the property by a road very "local" is very quiet along the Doubs.
Saunières villa has 6 bedrooms and 6 luxurious bathrooms "then", fitness room, sauna, steam room, "cozy" living room with fireplace, dining room and kitchen. The kitchen overlooks the pool terrace and promoting great conviviality.
Upon entering the property, protected by a wrought iron gate, ample parking can receive 5-6 cars. Then, before entering the Villa, a small courtyard with a row of roses and box becomes the perfect setting for lovers of bowling.
In the park behind the villa is a large terrace and heated pool 5mx10m. The few 4,000 m2 of gardens, aggrémentés a walnut centenary, an apple and some trees are an ideal playground for children.
Authenticity and comfort - The living room, dining room and some rooms have kept the noble materials of yesteryear. Old tiles, French ceilings, fireplaces ...
The decoration and furnishings have been chosen with great care, a true marriage of excellence between tradition and modernity.

The living room has a fireplace from the 19th century. An electrical burning fireplace insert will allow you to enjoy convivial moments by the fire, without carrying logs!
The dining room has a beautiful fireplace with large open fireplace to make a good fire. Wood is included in our rental rates.
Enjoy the soothing decor and comfort of the lounge sofas chersterfield. The French ceiling and old tiles provide a touch of authenticity.
A large high-definition screen with Freeview, satellite, and a Playstation 3 and Blu-ray DVD player pleasantly enliven your evenings.
The dining room is decorated in the spirit of hunting lodge, with its French ceiling and old tiles. The table is ready to accommodate up to 12 guests. A vast assortment of crockery and cutlery, chosen with taste by the good care of Sylvia, is available in the lounge dresser.
A breakfast area offers traditional coffee maker, Senseo, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle.
The kitchen
The kitchen of the villa is perfectly equipped: Oven, microwave oven, hob 4 burner stove with hood, dishwasher, large refrigerator with freezer, refrigerator additional table top, toaster.
Full equipment kitchen utensils and accessories is available, as well as tea towels.
An assortment of spices is available (salt, pepper, various herbs). Dishwasher washing products are also provided.
2 high chairs are available.
The kitchen overlooks the pool terrace and barbecue area.

Home fitness and relaxation
A small house adjoining the villa is decorated with an upstairs gym and a relaxation area with table football. On the ground floor you can enjoy a sauna and steam room with a capacity each of 5 to 6 people.
The fitness area is equipped with the following devices: bike, elliptical trainer, rowing machine, weights and dumbbells.
