We had a great week staying in your cottage in Jard sur mer. It is very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The large garage was very useful to store our bikes. The cottage is 2 minutes walk form the centre of town with shops and cafes. We enjoyed the excellent wine shop and the well stocked fruit and vegetable shop. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance, we loved Le Terasse Gourmand. The local beaches were lovely with great waves just a 15 minute walk away or a short drive further round the coast. We had a great time with our 2 teenage daughters and hope to return soon.

Great accommodation in a lovely seaside town. Excellent situation; very clean; really good resources/equipment in the house; nice size for a family of 4-6; private garden area. The owners are really helpful and provide fantastic information. We would definitely return here.

This comfortable gite has everything you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday. It is situated in a very good spot for the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything was spotlessly clean and in good working order. The owners have carefully considered what is needed in a holiday let and then provided it.

A lovely villa, very central to this lovely seaside area. The house had everything we needed to make our holiday easy and comfortable, plus we had the garage to store our bikes in. The house is next to a small gravel car park mainly used on market day (Monday) and also used by the local boule club but is very quiet and fun to watch them play. We have been to Jard Sur Mer six times so know the area well. This villa is close to the small town shopping street with its interesting shops bakeries and cafes, ten minutes walk from the beach and fifteen to the marina. There is lots to do in the area to suit everyone's taste. We are already booked up to return next year.

We stayed here this year and had a LOVELY holiday with Henry (14months), Grandma and Grandad. Would certainly recommend it to a family (or others!) looking for a well-maintained and perfectly catered-for property. Martin (owner) was extremely helpful with advice and constant information when we required it and helped us to feel that the house would be the perfect place for our 2week break - he wasn't wrong! Local and not-so-local area is lovely with great beaches (best one is La Mine which is cyclable) and interesting markets. Town is a stone's throw and cycling is easy due to relative flatness of area. Enjoy!

An exceptionally well equipped property ideally located to local shops and the beach. Most suitable location for; cycling (5 different circuits plus a cycle path by the coast accessed from the Rue Jean Moulin), swimming of a safe lifeguard attended beach which also caters for sailing and surfing. The property has safe storage for the car and all sporting equipment in an independent locked garage and gated forecourt. No difficulty in recommending this very clean and tidy holiday rental for use by young families to older families interesting in outdoor activities, or indeed group individuals. There are also evening entertainment events at the port suitable for all ages. Tom London.

This property offers excellent accommodation in this lovely French seaside town. The house is close to local shops in the town centre and a short walk from the port and beach. A large supermarket is a short drive away. The house contains everything necessary to enjoy a self-catering holiday. There is a walled garden at the back and a secure driveway at the front. The garden is south facing and enjoys the sun from morning until evening. Jard sur Mer is an ideal location for a family holiday and the house comes with a travelling cot and high chair. Jard has good access to Les Sables d'Olonne, Lucon and the vineyards at Rosnay. La Rochelle is about one hours drive away and well worth a visit. Jard itself is well supplied with restaurants and is very family friendly. The town often arranges entertainment at the Port on summer evenings. I have visited Jard a number of times over the last 20 years and the town has retained its charm throughout that time. I would highly recommend this property that allows one to enjoy fully a visit to the sunny beaches of the Vendee.

We had such a beautiful relaxing week in this very pretty seaside town. Group of four young professionals wanted a relaxing break away and this was just perfect! The house was an excellent standard with everything you would need and more provided. The house is located in easy proximity to the beach and is also a great base for discovering the beautiful Vendée region. Most definitely hope to return!

The property was immaculately clean and the best equipped holiday home that we have rented in the twenty years of travelling to the Vendee. It has easy access to town and country and close to every type of beach you would need.

The property is extremely well equipped, whatever you think you need is there. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. When it is cold outside it is quick and easy to make cosy. There is plenty of room for everyone and for storing goods to bring home. It is an ideal gite.
We have returned to this gite every year since 2000, because it is so good, the owner is always extremely helpful and the beaches nearby are brilliant.
The property is within easy walking distance of the baker's, ideal for breakfast. The shops and restaurants in the surrounding area are excellent.
