What a wonderful stay at Beau Rivage! My family and my sister’s family stayed here for a week in July, and it was just perfect. Donna was so helpful pre-arrival, and answered our questions about the area and the house without hesitation. We arrived on a Sunday and so no shops were open, so the offer of some food and drinks on arrival was fantastic, as was the opportunity to hire beach towels. We arrived into beautiful Longeville-sur-mer on a sunny day and opened the house door and we loved it straight away! A lovely, airy downstairs with patio doors that opened up to the pool - a very safe and considered pool for young children - with lots of sun loungers and chairs to lounge around on. The bedrooms and bathrooms were thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need - along with a fab drinks fridge. Bright, airy, and so comfortable. We felt at home, away from home. Donna also had lots of special touches throughout the house which made it very special. A little treasure hunt for the kids when we arrived which was thoughtful and fun! (I remember going to villas in France when I was a child, and there was nothing like this haha!). The area itself is beautiful. Right next to the house is a play park, and a short walk to the village took you to the BEST bakery which we got breakfast and baguettes at every morning, and some lovely little restaurants and a creperie. The village is so clean and pretty. There is a larger supermarche in the village too which is very handy. The coast area is lovely with so many nice beaches - and warm sea! And just over 1 hour drive from the airport - excellent location. I will not hesitate to recommend Beau Rivage for a family holiday. We had a brilliant time and we aim to be back very soon.
