A very pleasant holiday and a very warm welcome from Mr. and Mrs. Boutroy. The house is very pretty, spacious, and airy. The grounds are large, and the young children had a wonderful time playing there. The hamlet is very quiet in the countryside and close to the exceptional site of Cap Blanc-Nez. Shops, cinemas, and restaurants are available in Coquelles. In Calais, the beach and the Dragon sculpture delighted the children. A holiday spent outdoors in nature with magnificent weather. It's an ideal place to recharge your batteries; it's located in the countryside yet very close to the sea. If our travels take us to the Opal Coast, we'll definitely stay here again.

You couldn't ask for better if you're looking for a place away from the tourist crowds of the coast. I return to Haute Escalles several times. The reasons are clear: a warm and discreet welcome, a fantastic location, and comfortable rooms (we slept very well!).
