A Magical Place
Comfortable, spacious, well-equipped. Beautiful hillside location on different levels, overlooking a peaceful valley. Lots of wildlife (even spotted a pair of golden orioles). Superb pool. Magical.

La Braguese is a wonderful place. The house is nicely and practically furbished and offers all you need to spend a nice vacation with friends or kids. The view is breath-taking and the calm is complete. Ray and Gill are very attentive and communicative hosts. We’ll certainly be back to enjoy this fantastic place!
We had a wonderful time at your beautiful place. We’ll certainly be back next year! Kind regards Stephanie

The moment when we walked in, until the end of our vacation, we had a great time in this beautiful country house. This place is incredible to relax and enjoy the magic sunsets. Inside the house, its even beter then you see on the pictures. In the kitchen everything you need is available, the bedsheets are from perfect quality (where did they bought these?), they provide you a big and small towel, and also a towel for pool use. Nearby the pool, there is a toilet, there are sun beds enough, you have a fridge nearby, nice plastic tableware, games like badminton, ping pong, petanque, darts, airhockeytalbe, ..... within 10 - 15 minus driving distance there is a big supermarkt, baker, butcher, farmacie, ... and probably also other shops where i did not payed attention to. This is one of the best placed i book with Airbnb! Ray and Gill, thank you so much for having us!

Approached through countryside and at the end of a lane, and are at once struck by he views all round-rolling tree-covered hills and fields, absolutely peaceful. The house itself is extremely airy and clean and all the fittings are new and in excellent condition. The kitchen has everything one could wish for-it's probably the best kitchen I have used in 30 years of coming to France. We would unhesitatingly recommend this house for an ideal relaxed, peaceful and comfortable stay in this lovely area of rural France.
You approach La Brageuse through countryside and at the end of a lane, and are at once struck by he views all round-rolling tree-covered hills and fields, absolutely peaceful. There are a number of places to sit outside, and the pool area has recliners with cushions and a playroom with fridge for storing poolside drinks, plus a room with a toilet and hand basin.
The house itself is extremely airy and clean and all the fittings are new and in excellent condition. From the side door. you enter via a utility space with washing machine and cleaning implements, with a wc.
The downstairs area consists of a very large kitchen and a lounge area with comfortable new armchairs. The kitchen has everything one could wish for-it's probably the best kitchen I have used in 30 years of coming to France. Unusually in my experience there is ample cupboard and drawer space, and very generous amounts of crockery and cutlery.
Upstairs there is a second lounge area, again with very comfortable seating, with a "book corner", and a large screen modern tv set. We used the main bedroom (there are 2 more on this floor and a small attic room), which was very large and comfortable, with, to my wife's delight, a proper dressing table with mirror!
The whole house has been thoughtfully planned to make your stay seamless. We were lucky to be met by Gill, who welcomed us with tea and biscuits and helped us unload the car and settle, and took obvious pride in her and Ray's achievements in planning and fitting out the house
We would unhesitatingly recommend this house for an ideal relaxed, peaceful and comfortable stay in this lovely area of rural France
