This beautifully restored stone double cottage is surrounded by gardens with all of its historic charm still remaining. Overlooking the Loire River in a picturesque hamlet, this is the perfect starting point for an enchanting visit to France’s glorious historical past. Sleeping up to 6 people inside the cottage, our guests will find 2 bedrooms, one king and one twin room, both bedrooms have new mattresses and luxury sheets. The tower bedroom can be found at the top of a narrow stairway and offers some splendid views overlooking the river. An additional 2 people can be accommodated on the double sofa bed which can be found in the living area.
The well-equipped gourmet kitchen has everything you should need during your stay including an induction cooktop, kettle, cuisinart, herb chopper, mixer, all cooking utensils plus dishwasher, washing machine, electric tumble dryer, microwave, convection and conventional oven. With a large fridge and freezer the fridge has a special shelf for wine bottles.
In the living / dining area you will find a selection of comfy seating, a large sofa and dining table with seating for 6 people. There is a TV set for you to enjoy which is connected to the satellite and receives CNN, Sky, and BBC news in English. There is also a DVD player with a selection of English-language movies, a radio, CD player and a selction of books, games and a great music library. A mac and HP laptop are also available for our guests to use during their stay, with wireless internet access throughout the cottage.
The cottage has 2 bathrooms, one of which has a bathtub with overhead shower and toilet, the other being a separate shower room with a second toilet. Each of our guests will be provided with a big fluffy towel and wash cloth.
Surrounded by fully fenced gardens, outside you will find a large lawn area, deck/patio, gazebo and an outdoor grill / barbecue. There is a good selection of outdoor furniture including a table and chairs set which is suitable for picnicking.

The cottage is unsuitable for elderly or Infirm and unfortunately is inaccessible for wheelchairs. Although the property has large fully enclosed garden it's not suitable for very young children. Pets may be considered on request. We welcome long term renters but please note that this is a non smoking property throughout.
