Indre Holiday Rental Cottage in Ambrault, Loire Valley, France
Les Canardeaux offers well equipped and comfortable self catering accommodation for 6 plus 2 babies. This lovely Indre holiday cottage is situated in Ambrault in the Berry, the southern part of the Loire Valley. It is the perfect setting for exploring the area and boasts an 8x4m private swimming pool that has a security cover and alarm, plus a large gated garden. The cottage overlooks farmland and is surrounded by restaurants, shops and local markets. The area is fantastic for exploring the beautiful countryside and enjoying activities such as horse riding, country walks, fishing and visiting the nearby chateaux and local markets - a notable weekly market takes place at St Août, just 10 minutes' drive away. Other attractions worth visiting are the historic towns of Bourges and Issoudun. For wine lovers, there are plenty of excellent local wines to be sampled!
Les Canardeaux combines rustic simplicity with modern necessities providing comfortable accommodation. French windows look out onto the terrace where a large table overlooks the pool. The barbecue is nearby. The living room comprises comfy leather chairs and a sofa which is great for lounging by the log fire or watching the satellite TV channels. Over-sized duvets are provided in the bedrooms with linen and towels included at no extra charge.
There are 3 supermarkets open on Sunday morning within a 20 minute drive of the house, plus a shop in the next village which is well stocked. A bread van stops outside the cottage 3 mornings a week and there is a boulangerie in the village of Ambrault. The nearest hypermarket is 25 minutes' drive away on the outskirts of Chateauroux.

25% deposit required to secure booking. Full payment is required 8 weeks in advance of the rental period start date.
