Beautifully restored and thoughtfully modernised, this traditional Dordogne farmhouse combines the charm of rural France with all the comforts required for a relaxing family holiday. Offering flexible accommodation for larger groups, the property has been carefully renovated to retain its authentic character while providing excellent modern facilities.

At the heart of the grounds is a recently constructed heated saltwater swimming pool, positioned within a private walled garden and surrounded by spacious terraces ideal for outdoor living and entertaining.

Accommodation

The farmhouse enjoys an excellent location and offers generous living space with seven bedrooms and five bathrooms.

The large country kitchen is fully equipped for group catering and features a range cooker, American-style fridge freezer and two dishwashers. The comfortable sitting room opens directly onto the veranda and includes large sofas and a wood-burning stove. A separate snug provides a cosy retreat complete with television, DVD player and both UK and French satellite channels.

From 2026 onwards, air conditioning will be available in all bedrooms with the exception of the children's room.

The farmhouse is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens with lovely views across meadows, woodland and open countryside, where local wildlife is frequently seen.

A large covered veranda extends along the front of the property and provides an ideal setting for al fresco dining. The generous dining table comfortably seats up to 14 guests.

To the rear of the farmhouse is the heated 10m x 5m saltwater swimming pool, positioned to enjoy sunshine throughout the day. The pool benefits from an electric shutter cover for added safety and security.

The pool terrace includes fourteen sun loungers, parasols and a covered seating area overlooking the water.

A separate pool house offers additional entertainment facilities, including:

Sainte-Foy-la-Grande is approximately 15 minutes away and offers a good selection of shops, cafés, restaurants and riverside attractions along the Dordogne.

Bergerac, around 25 minutes by car, is famous for its charming old town, lively waterfront and international airport, making arrivals and departures particularly convenient.

The cosmopolitan city of Bordeaux can be reached in around 75 minutes and offers excellent shopping, restaurants, cultural attractions and a major international airport.
