The Traverse de Ponthieu is around five minutes from the barn by car. This is a converted disused railway line where people can safely, walk, run or cycle.
The forest of Crecy and the Capability Brown gardens of the Reginiere Ecluce Chateau (free entry) are fifteen minutes away by car.
There are a number of golf courses near the coast.
Amiens Zoo, The Cathedral and canal boat trips are around forty minutes away, as are the seaside towns of Le Touquet, St. Valery sur Somme, Le Crotoy, Fort Mahon and Quend.
The stunning walled town of Montreuil sur Mer, where victor Hugo set much of Les Miserables, is a half hour drive. Paris is 100 minutes by train from Abbeville station, some 20 minutes from the village.
