We stayed in early July and had a wonderful week. ..

We stayed in early July and had a wonderful week. The cottage is really beautiful and well equipped, Caroline's gardens are absoluetly beautiful and we ate outside almost every night.

Caroline and George were wonderful hosts they didn't intrude at all but were just next door if we needed anything (tips on local bars, markets, towns and beaches).

The area is fantastic, loads to do for kids, great beaches, lovely traditional towns with thriving markets and good resturants. There's a large super market close by for all the essentials but also great bakers and markets so you don't need to use it if you don't want to. I don't want to over recommend this cottage purely so we don't have trouble when we come to book next summer!

This was a perfect holiday for us and our 16 month..

This was a perfect holiday for us and our 16 month old son. The gite was open plan which made it feel very spacious and the beautiful garden was ideal for our son to play in. Lots to do, all within a short drive including sandy beaches, a lighthouse to climb, the D Day landing beaches and nearby towns with good restaurants. We left feeling relaxed and refreshed. The warm welcome from Caroline and Georges with local farm eggs, bread and homemade jam was a very nice touch. We hope to be back!

This lovely cottage was just what I needed to recharge the batteries after a 7 month assignment in Myanmar. Lovely traditional features with enough modern facilities for even a small family holiday. It's tucked away in the bottom of a small Valley which shelters it from the elements especially in February! The owners are very friendly and helpful but in my case were not in the face which was just what I wanted. It's a superb Base for exploring the Cherbourg Peninsular as well as the Normandy beaches and St Michael's mount. The only downside was no English TV, but was able to keep up with the news over the provided WiFi.

We had a fantastic week here with our kids. Perfect cottage really well stocked and comfortable. The location is amazing for all the landing beaches and all the great things to do in the area. Would definitely recommend and return one day xxx

Our host was very responsive to my numerous questions pre trip and sent us all the information we required. We were warmly greeted and shown around. The cottage is in a lovely valley with beautiful gardens and a very quiet country lane beyond the gated entrance. It had a spacious living, dining and kitchen area. Upstairs were two bedrooms and a large hall for storing things. Our 3 year old loved the garden and fresh air and enjoyed sleeping in a bunk bed. A cot was provided for out 8 month old. A supermarket and baker are a 5 minute drive away. We spent the time with friends and visiting a few local landmarks. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and with the convenience of the ferry at Cherbourg, certainly an area we would like to investigate more. I would certainly recommend staying here if you are a family of 4 and want some peace and quiet.
