Tortue Noire is a large 90m2 cottage with spacious rooms, with south and north orientation, located on the same level as the parking and the upper terrace. The kitchen and bathroom were completely renovated in 2017 and have been finished to an excellent standard. The property sleeps 6 to 7 guests comfortably. The property comprises 2 bedrooms, an open plan living/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, shower room and separate WC.
Facilities include: Wifi, TV, MLV, Gas cooker, large fridge, 3 drawer freezer, MW, Coffee machine, Kettle, Steamer, Games.
Yellow room: 2 pull-out beds 90x190 and 2 adult bunk beds 90x200
Blue room: 2 twin beds 90x200
Living room: convertible bed 140x200
Shower room with 2 showers and double washbasin

We are ideally located 5 minutes from St Lary Soulan, and close to the ski resorts of Piau Engaly, Val Louron and Peyragudes. For your winter holidays, you will be close to 4 different ski resorts, which will give you a great freedom to discover these iconic ski resorts of the Pyrenees all very different from each other!
Aside from skiing and snowboarding there are activities a plenty! In winter guests can enjoy snowshoeing, ski touring, dog sledding, ice climbing, ice diving ... and after a long day of winter sports, what better than to relax in the thermal baths at Balnéa (Loudenvielle) or Sensoria (St Lary)?!
During the rest of the year, the Aure Valley and the Louron Valley offer an exceptional array of activities including : hiking, canyonning, rafting, climbing, climbing, road cycling or mountain biking, paragliding etc
Spain is very close to St Lary Soulan, thanks to the Tunnel of Aragnouet Bielsa which will allow you to join the Spanish side of the Pyrenees in only a few minutes.
Throughout the year, there are many events around which to plan your holidays such as: The Tour de France, Pyrenees Grand Raid, Patou Trail, Enduro d'Aure, Xtrem 'Freeride ...
Our cottage is near the beautiful villages of Arreau, Loudenvielle, Vielle-Aure, Vignec. Saint Lary enjoys an ideal location in the Hautes Pyrenees and it is very easy to come to St Lary for a weekend or a short stay from the cities of Toulouse, Bordeaux, Bayonne, Pau, Tarbes, Montpellier.

Winter is obviously the season for many vacationers who come to enjoy the snow.
Winter sports are very well represented in the Aure valley and Louron thanks to 4 ski resorts that allow everyone to practice the skiing he loves.
Saint-Lary: the historic resort, with more than 100 km of tracks between 1700 and 2500 meters, in beautiful landscapes. Its field, very extensive and varied, allows all types of slides, for all levels.
It is a well equipped station in snow cannons, with exhibitions and very varied terrain. Accessible thanks to two lifts from the village, without having to take the car. Possibility to ski down to the village for good skiers (off-piste area) when conditions permit. Very nice off piste for those who know.
Sometimes a lot of time spent in the lifts because the station is very large and some facilities are ageing, but the station invested a lot in recent years to reduce this problem.
Peyragudes: very large resort, on two opposite slopes, it offers wide ski slopes served by fast lifts.
Very wide tracks very well worked, quick ski rides that allow you to consume.
Also offers the longest run in the entire area.
No trees and little landscape variation. The width and quality of preparation sometimes make the bottom of track dangerous by speeding some skiers.
Piau-Engaly: only one slope rather steep, served by two very large fast lifts. The snow is guaranteed throughout the winter, by its altitude and its orientation.
Guaranteed snow, the easy slope to find for those who love, great lifts, and beautiful off-piste for those who know.
Val Louron: very small family resort, with an exceptional view and a very mild price. Here, no tail, no stress, and a varied field despite its small size. Snow cover is sometimes random.
Special Rental Conditions
- For short stays, sheets and cleaning (except dishes) are always included. Departure is possible until 18h.
- For weekly stays, sheets, towels and cleaning are optional. * Departure is at 10am if you take the cleaning option, at 11am if you do the cleaning yourself.
- Arrival is from 16h. Please inform us in case of late arrival.
- A deposit is required beyond 7 people (White Tiger or 2 accommodations), not cashed and returned one week after the stay if no damage was found.
- Info about Christmas and New Year's holidays: Since Christmas falls on December 25th this year, and it's a Sunday, the rental, for this week, will last exceptionally 9 days, from Saturday 17th to Monday 26th, to allow you to celebrate Christmas serenely.
New Year's week will be from Monday 26 to Monday 2.
For Christmas, we provide decorations on request.
