Welcome to The Cottage with Blue Shutters, a charming detached Breton holiday home in Kéraval, near the little port of Moguériec in Sibiril.
Set within a secluded enclosed garden and within easy reach of the beautiful North Finistère coastline, this spacious 140m² cottage provides a wonderfully relaxing base for families and friends wishing to discover one of Brittany's most authentic coastal regions.
The property can accommodate up to 8 guests, although a maximum of 6 adults is recommended for greater comfort.
Whether spending sunny days on the beach, walking the spectacular GR34 coastal path, exploring nearby Roscoff or simply relaxing in the garden after a day beside the sea, this is a home designed for an easy-going Breton holiday.
SPACIOUS LIVING AREAS & VERANDA
At the heart of the cottage is a large and welcoming living area incorporating the lounge and dining room.
Comfortable furnishings include a leather sofa, television, stereo system and a wood-burning stove, making the cottage equally appealing for cosy stays outside the main summer season.
There is also a library with books for adults and children, DVDs and a selection of board games.
The living room opens onto a spacious veranda overlooking the flower-filled garden, providing another lovely place to relax, read or enjoy time together.
FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN
The kitchen is simple, practical and exceptionally well equipped for self-catering holidays.
Facilities include a dishwasher, refrigerator, hob, fan oven, microwave, traditional coffee machine, Nespresso machine, electric juicer, mixer, blender and electric grater, together with an extensive selection of cookware and utensils.
A useful selection of everyday essentials such as spices, oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, flour, sugar, coffee and tea is also provided.
Kitchen linen, dishwasher tablets, washing-up products, sponges and other useful household essentials are supplied, helping guests travel a little lighter.
3 BEDROOMS – SLEEPS UP TO 8
The cottage offers three flexible sleeping areas/bedrooms, making it particularly suitable for families.
Master Bedroom
A comfortable wood-panelled bedroom with a double bed, storage furniture and television.
Family Bedroom
A spacious room with a double bed and single bed, providing comfortable accommodation for a couple with a child or other family members.
Bedroom / Office & Mezzanine Area
Additional flexible sleeping accommodation includes a single bed and sofa bed, together with a small lounge area ideal for reading or listening to music.
The house can accommodate up to 8 guests, although the owners recommend a maximum of 6 adults for optimum comfort.
TWO BATHROOMS
On the ground floor is a bathroom with shower and WC.
Upstairs there is a second bathroom offering both a bath and shower, together with a WC.
Hairdryers are also available.
PRIVATE ENCLOSED GARDEN
Outside, guests can enjoy the cottage's attractive and secluded garden – ideal for relaxing after a day exploring the coast.
Outdoor facilities include a terrace, garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue, while the spacious veranda provides a sheltered area for enjoying the surroundings whatever the weather.
The fully enclosed grounds are also particularly convenient for families and guests travelling with dogs.
A WONDERFUL LOCATION FOR THE BRITTANY COAST
One of the cottage's greatest attractions is its location.
The surrounding coastline is ideal for walking, swimming, sailing, surfing, kayaking, fishing and simply enjoying the beaches of North Finistère.
The famous GR34 coastal path is close by, while the beautiful Les Amiets beach at Cléder is one of several excellent beaches within easy reach. The nearby Moguériec coastline also has smaller beaches and coves to discover.
From Moguériec, summer visitors can take a boat excursion to the Île de Batz, while Roscoff offers further crossings as well as its historic streets, harbour, exotic garden and thalassotherapy facilities.
Other enjoyable days out include Saint-Pol-de-Léon, Carantec, Morlaix, Breton castles and manor houses, traditional parish enclosures and Océanopolis in Brest.
After a day in the fresh sea air, return to the cottage, light the wood-burning stove on cooler evenings and enjoy the peace of the enclosed garden.
DOG-FRIENDLY HOLIDAYS
Pets are welcome, with a maximum of 2 medium-sized dogs.
One dog is accepted free of charge, with a supplement of €60 for a second dog.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION
Private parking is available at the property.
Wi-Fi, television, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, baby equipment and extensive kitchen facilities are provided.
For guests travelling with an electric vehicle, the owner advises that an EV charging point is available approximately 500 metres away at the port of Moguériec.
Bed linen and towels can be provided as optional extras, while kitchen linen, table linen, cleaning products and crockery are supplied.

From €135 to €150 per night, depending on the season.
Weekly Stays:
During mid and high season, stays are generally available from Saturday to Saturday, for periods of 1–3 weeks, with longer stays also possible.
Short Stays:
Outside school holidays and during the low season, short stays of 3 nights or more may be available with more flexible arrival and departure days.
Weekend stays may also be possible from Thursday, Friday or Saturday until Sunday or Monday during low and mid season.
