Superb Chateau de la Vallee + Cottage with Private Pool in Grandcourt, Normandy Reviews

Very nice accommodation (it impressed all our friends), perfect for accommodating a large number of people. It has everything you need in terms of the kitchen (we had all 3 kitchens at our disposal, which is very convenient for a large group; they are also well equipped), bedding, and activities, especially the famous swimming pool, which we enjoyed a lot.

Our large family group loved this quirky chateau which is in a glorious location for forest walks and the beach.
The chateau caretakers could not have been more helpful in keeping everything running as smoothly as possible.
Some of the amenities do need maintenance or replacement.
I would love to come back when these issues have been sorted as it was a fairy-tale house, ideally suited to a large family group.

We loved the charm of this castle and its cottage, the comfort of the rooms with the en-suite bathrooms. The different living rooms were appreciated during our family meeting (20 adults and 6 young children).
Only downside, with the very cold temperatures (-2, -5c), the space heater was essential, especially since there were no tenants before us. Thank you also for the welcome gifts and the presence of Christmas trees.

Great experience in Angela's castle! Beautiful space (indoor and outdoor), very peaceful, beautiful environment and all the comforts you need inside. We were a large group of friends with children and everything went smoothly, everyone found something to their liking. Very good communication with Angela and very nice hosting by Solange. I recommend it and we will come back in summer if the opportunity arises to enjoy the pool and the outdoors!

Accommodation as described. Ideal for large groups!
Very spacious interior and exterior. Well-equipped. It would just be necessary to review the operation of the televisions before check-in and improve/renovate the showers. A petanque court would be great😉.

Exceeded our expectations! Great location for sixteen of us and a well appointed chateau. Solange was very helpful on arrival. The restaurant opposite was excellent; the staff members went above and beyond to entertain/feed us on two occasions. We will never forget those evenings. Formidable! In fact, we will be returning next year. Already booked. Thank you, Angela! We enjoyed days out, particularly Rouen, but our walk in the forest among the bluebells was equally memorable. One of our party had a birthday while we were there; the chateau proved to be the perfect venue for a birthday do! A few of us braved the pool, despite the not so warm sunshine. Overall, a fantastic few days away. Highly recommend!
