Set in a restored traditional French manor house complex in the Charente-Maritime region, our countryside property offers first class accommodation for guests.
The region enjoys a climate second only to the French Riviera - the mild winters and warm sunny summers make it the ideal holiday destination!
Situated in the hamlet of La Ville Aux Moines, the complex boasts stunning views during the summer months and are surrounded by sunflower fields.
Being named after constellations means that when you stay in one of our gites, you really do holiday with the stars!
As owners, we live on site in our lovingly restored French manor house. We have refurbished the outlying buildings into well appointed dwellings that are now available for holiday rental.
There is a heated, fully tiled, safety fenced swimming pool (12 x 8 mtrs) – which has a separate ‘splash’ pool (6 x 5 mtrs) for young ones. A half acre garden contains children’s swings , badminton, a football net, a very large safety netted trampoline, there is also a games room with table tennis and pool. We have lots of bikes including child seats & safety helmets.
In short we have everything you need for the perfect holiday. Then, of course, for the more adventurous, there is all that Charente-Maritime has to offer as well!
HERCULES
(3 bedrooms) There are two entry points, a set of French doors & a patio door, both lead into a large open plan area, with a lounge, dining & kitchen area (includes dishwasher), the stairs lead from the centre to the first floor, which has a double bed and bed settee and a cot in room 1, two singles in room 2 & three singles in room 3. Sleeps up to 7 in beds + baby. In the bathroom there is a combined bath/ shower and a pedestal sink, the w/c is separate with a hand sink, both are the ground floor.
The total floor area is 108 mtrs sq approx.
There is a small garden/patio area, with garden furniture & a BBQ.
Washing machine & tumble drying facilities.

We are 40 minutes from the historic port of La Rochelle on the west coast of France.
The beaches of Ile de re, Ile d’Oleron La Rochelle, Chatelaillon & Royan are nearby. Venise verte and Benon wood. Cognac, Puy du Fou, Saintes, La Palmyre zoo, and Futuroscope at Poitiers are all within easy reach.
There are numerous Chateaux in the area open to visitors.
During the summer there are music festivals, live bands and a very large visiting fairground.
You could perhaps visit Euro Disney on your route to or from our location, stopping for a night or two in a Paris Hotel.
