 Véro and family, May 2025.

The quality and warmth of the welcome. The hosts' suggestions to make our stay easier. Véro and family, May 2025.

 Olger and Family, July 2025.

The beautiful old building, and the grounds. We only stayed for 4 days, but would have liked to stay longer to benefit from the facilities. No complaints! Olger and Family, July 2025.

 Gormlaith and family, July 2025.

The peace and tranquility, Paulette and Simon have created an amazing sanctuary! That we had to leave! Gormlaith and family, July 2025.

 Ronan and Family, July 2025.

The peace and quiet, the dark sky, the enormously friendly interactions with Paulette and Simon. I felt like the gite was my home, and simultaneously felt like Paulette and Simon were sharing their home with us. Amazing. Oh, and the Internet access is astouding compared to anywhere else similar I’ve been. When I had to work (not by choice) I might as well have been in my office so good was the access. This little celebrated detail should be commended. I felt I could come and go as I pleased and loved the sense of security. We felt totally relaxed and felt we were in the company of friends rather than hosts. This place is special. Having to do a bit of work (!). Splendid isolation has its own value – but of course that’s got nothing to do with Le Preille. Ronan and Family, July 2025.

 Anick and co. July, 2025

For the third time we’ve spent our holidays at Le Prielle, such a lovely place. We spent two weeks in Gite 5 during July, our home away from home. Again we very much enjoyed the peace and quite of this charming domain. There is something to do for everyone, hikes in the neighbourhood or in the beautiful Pyrenees mountains. Lots of pretty little towns to visit, very good restaurants and vineyards. Our kids went to see a great show ” the cours landaise “in the arena of Maubourguet, they definitely recommend it!! Many thanks to Paulette and Simon, they are both fantastic hosts. We are so glad we could spent our holidays at Le Prielle and we hope to come back a next time. Anick and co. July, 2025

Natalie and family, Brest. August 2020.

A cottage organized for a quiet family vacation. Lots of space to allow everyone to experience their holidays in their own way. Attentive and attentive hosts while being discreet and respectful. Thanks to Paulette and Simon for their excellent welcome. -

 Boeri. July 2020

Charming place: quiet and closer to nature. The cottages are very well equipped. The welcome is warm: beds made on arrival, very clean lodging, small welcome gift. Paulette and Simon, the owners, are very kind and responsive to any question. The wifi was poor, but this comes from the location in the white zone… A shower for before and after the swimming pool would be welcome… We will return! -

 Brasquies. July / August 2020

I recommend this rental if you are looking for peace and quiet. The swimming pool, very popular in July, and the surroundings are really pleasant. It is not impossible to come across other living beings like the doe which shares the kindling with the residents. -

 Youri, Netherlands. August 2020

We’re a group of friends from the Netherlands and we’ve had a wonderful stay at Le Prielle! From the moment we arrived until the moment we (unfortunately) had to head home, Paulette and Simon have been amazing hosts. They provided us with everything we needed in the Gite, as well as with tips regarding where to eat, which supermarkets were nearby, and which activities to do in the area (like canyoning, karting, wine tasting, markets). They also helped set up campfires, which was a great opportunity to enjoy the stars when the skies were clear. It was furthermore great to see that Paulette was always in for a little chat about how we were doing and how our days were. The Gite itself was fully equipped and we felt very lucky with the amazing terrace and garden in front of ‘our little house’. Even though there are multiple Gites on the terrain and the pool and sunbathing area are shared with the other guests, there was always a quiet and serene atmosphere. In case you’re seeking a bit more crowdedness, there’s plenty to do in the area, like Bordeaux, Toulouse, or the coast which are all a +/- 2h drive. All in all it has been a relaxing holiday and we hope to get back next year! –
