WELCOME TO THIS SET OF THREE HOUSES ON 5000M2 OF LAND SURROUNDED BY MEADOWS AND WOODS, LOCATED AT 1100M ALTITUDE, IN AN ISOLATED HAMLET ON THE SOUTH SIDE, ABOVE THE VILLAGE OF SAMOENS AND FACING THE GRAND MASSIF SKI RESORT .

Chantemerle is one of the most beautiful hamletsSamoëns, a remarkable site which houses one of seven chapels of Samöens, classified in the inventory of historical monuments. Mass is said once a year in August.

The place is superb , with a view stretching from the Mont Blanc chain to Lake Geneva and exceptional sunshine, especially in winter when the valley remains in the mist.

We are on the south side of the valley, very sunny, at 1100 m altitude, the ski resort is on the north side. The departure of the ski lifts is at the village of Samoens 4 km from Chantemerle . 

This property was acquired in 1968 by the Lustig family. It was a farm whose construction dates back to the nineteenth century. The little house and the shed have been renovated by Claire's father: you will appreciate the stairs completely handmade and without a nail!

The little house and the shed have long been rented with a rudimentary comfort. We redid them to modern standards. The big house ( the farm ) has been completely redone and enlarged in 2014, taking care to keep the character of a mountain house.

By offering Chantemerle for rent we aim to make you enjoy the beauty of the place and this is for us a way to finance the maintenance of these houses which, you can imagine, is very expensive.

You are not in a hotel, but in a family house and a mountain house where the climate is harsh . There are small material incidents of everyday life but we will provide you with all the elements to solve them.

These lodgings are not suitable if you want to be at the foot of the slopes, with the view of the parking, near bars and nightclubs, in the crowd and noise. Chantemerle is for lovers of great nature, calm and beauty.

La Ferme:
Classified Gîte de France 3 ears, is the main building of the property. It has three rooms for two, which can accommodate cots, and two sleeping areas.A sleeping area with a BZ 140 can accommodate two other people:

The intimacy of the beds is ensured by screens.

The living room sofa unfolds into two beds of 90 × 200.

The dining room accommodates 16 people around the table and we can add an additional table to accommodate the 23 guests in case of rentals of the three houses. A large cooking piano allows you to cook for groups.

Special Rental Conditions

Pets are allowed, 20 € extra for cleaning.

They are based on a daily price per person in low season, 15 euros / day / person on the basis of rooms with double beds, for a week .

They progress in stages: low, medium, high and very high season (winter holidays).

In winter we include a KWH package that is sufficient for your normal consumption, but not enough if you are careless and leave the radiators to the maximum and the windows open! You will then pay a supplement on the basis of 0,16 e / additional KWH!

The firewood is provided.

The linen (sheets and towels) is not provided, except in the rates of very high season of winter. Either bring your own, or we will rent it at the cost of laundry: 15th per person.
