Lovely Gite, beautiful rural setting. Shame about the weather!!
We had a lovely week in this beautifully decorater, spacious and very comfortable gite. Mark and Lynda are very friendly and welcoming, nothing seems too much trouble! The pool is lovely - unfortunately we had a lot of wind and rain for the week, so we didn't use it (and the whole outside area - seating, loungers, outdoor heating, large garden) as much as we would have liked to!

The area is beautiful, if very rural. The towns nearby are lovely, but be aware that everything shuts down for the afternoon as is French culture, and there is very limited choice to eat out before 7/7:30pm, which was a bit of an issue having two small children who need to be in bed by then!

St Malo was lovely and seems a bit more cosmopolitan (so being closer to here may give more daytime options for young families?).

Mont St Michel is only 30mins away, as is Alligator Bay - both worth a trip.

Overall a lovely stay in a very well-appointed gite! Thank you Mark and Lynda!

Lovely, quiet in a convenient location for sightseeing
We had a fantastic time in this beautifully renovated barn. The peace and quiet of the area is relaxing and with lovely and very friendly owners who have great knowledge of the area and places to visit, you can be as busy or as relaxed as you want. For those warm days the pool is brilliant.

We will definitely be coming back and recommending to friends and family.

Amazing Place and Amazing people
Mark and Lynda were the best hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our time staying at their "Barn". The facilities were perfect, very luxurious with everything we could ever need. Thanks for a great three nights

Lovely property Lovely people
Ants in our pants! This was a wonderful vacation. The property is well kept, clean, private and spacious.

The owners Lynda and Mark are fantastic people and always ready to share their knowledge about the area. Even some hidden gems were revealed.

The location of the property is very rural and rustic, yet its close to all amenities you need and close to most cities and sites to see. Thanks for a wonderful time! Absolutely worth a return visit

Great place to stay!
Mark and Lynda are very nice and we felt very welcome at their place. They gave us some nice drinks and things for the barbeque. This place was so nice and much bigger than we expected. A very quiet environment with nice walks around the house and only 20 minutes ride from Mont Saint Michel. The fireplace, good music and barbeque are nice assets of this house.

Towels en linnen were perfectly provided. Don t forget to bring some salt & herbs & oil, since the house is normally not inhabited by others. The twin rooms are great! Big beds are great and bedrooms are good furnitured. The smaller beds have less quality matresses.

Fantastique!
Our first time in France, and what a superb experience. This accommodation is beautifully situated in the French countryside, yet is convenient to amenities and so many places of interest.

The Barn itself is very clean and well furnished, the owners have gone out of their way to ensure that everything you need is there.

Mark and Lynda are two of the loveliest people, we appreciated the very warm welcome, and they have struck the perfect balance between being on hand, yet allowing the right amount of privacy for visitors.

A really lovely experience, we hope to return soon.

Lovely self catering barn
The barn is beautifully situated in the French countryside, so peaceful but only 10 minutes to the pretty town of Ducey, with supermarket and a variety of shops. The property is lovely, modern and spacious, but with a rustic feel, very clean and a credit to Mark's hard work. Mark and Lynda are so warm and welcoming and happy to assist you in any way they can. We loved the fact that the barn is dog friendly, our Border Terrier loved the spacious garden and although on the edge of the road we only saw one car on a busy day!!! We would highly recommend this Normandy property.
