La Huttiere offers two holiday cottages in the Loire Valley in the ideal location for visiting all the Historical sights and attractions of the region. It's located deep in the heart of the Loire countryside in 25 acres of open and woodland, close to the small village of Chigne, and only a few minutes drive from the market town of Le Lude with it’s world famous chateau.
The gites can accommodate up to 6 guests each. All bedrooms have their own bathrooms (en-suite). Cots are available for the younger members of the family.
Outside we have 10 hectares of gardens, grounds and woodland. Situated at the end of a long track makes La Huttiere a very secure and safe place for even your smallest children to run around and have fun!
We also have an 'out-of-ground' swimming pool for everybody to enjoy.
Each cottage has a private patio with outside dining area.
GITE LILY - Accommodation
Comprises 2 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. Both rooms have their own bathrooms. Oak flooring throughout
Downstairs is a large kitchen/dining/salon area. Charming, traditional features have been kept such as oak beams.
The kitchen is fully equipped with Washing machine, oven, fridge freezer etc.
The sitting area has a large television with CD and DVD players. Free WIFI.

You do require your own transport as we are in the heart of the countryside but only minutes from the market towns of Le Lude and Noyant.

Chigne has a bar/restaurant where you can buy your daily French stick or enjoy a lunch of five courses inc wine for only 11 euros ! ( not to be missed !)
The town of Le Lude is only a few minutes drive and has a variety of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets that will cater for all your needs.
La Huttiere is mid-way between Le Mans and Tours ( airport that connects with Stanstead – London ) both being a forty minute drive.
There are lots of places of interest with of course, a host of chateaus also we are only ten minutes away a world famous zoo at La Fleche.
There are various children’s parks with the brilliant theme park Futuroscope, which is great for both adults and children alike. Within twenty minutes from us there are three man made beaches which have swimming/fishing and boating. The large lakes or Loir river makes great fishing and we can provide a day license or even a fishing rod for you free of charge. We also have a variety of cycles which you are most welcome to use.
For golfers there is a fabulous 18 hole course at Bauge which is a twenty minute drive away. Being a wine growing area there are lots of vineyards for you to visit and sample the various wines.
The drive to us from say Calais takes approx 5 hours including a coffee stop. You will find that it is a very quiet motorway drive to us with very little traffic, nothing like the M25 !
