La Salle is a charming, self catering little cottage comprising one double bedroom and one mezzanine bedroom suitable for 3 children . Two more people can be accommodated on a bed settee in the living area, if required.
This pretty holiday home is located in a small hamlet, 6 km from the medieval town of Caylus, considered by many people to be an area of perfect peace and tranquility. It is convenient for exploring this beautiful historic area of France, and is wonderful for walking or cycling in the unspoilt countryside. There is an eclectic mix of French and Catalan cuisines, beautiful rivers and picturesque hills.
Outside, the property boasts a fantastic private swimming pool and lovely garden with plenty of space for outside living and al fresco dining. The pool is open from May to September.
The gîte is in the garden of our holiday home , but there will be no one staying in this house whilst the gîte is rented out so you will have the garden and pool completely to yourselves whilst staying there.
Accommodation:
The cottage has open plan living accomodation,with kitchen, sitting room and bathroom all on the ground floor.
It comprises one bedroom downstairs. The mezzanine bedroom upstairs has three single beds and is ideal for children. The bathroom has a walk in large shower and toilet.
The Area:
The cottage is set in a quiet and peaceful setting surrounded by farmland, ideally situated to visit the Gaillac and Cahors wine regions and within easy distance of Albi, Cahors, Montauban, Toulouse, the Lot valley and the Aveyron gorges. Nearby activities include horse riding,cycling, fishing and canoeing. There are a number of colourful markets and restaurants in the area. Nearby Caylus and St Antonin are beautiful typical medieval villages .
Be sure to explore the lush green countryside and medieval bastide towns with their bright bustling markets.
