Nice pool. Plenty of comfortable pool furniture and shade. Outside dining and BBQ. Badminton, table tennis, plenty of bikes. And if weather not so good, great TV satellite and videos. And board games! There is one big downside however. It's so comfortable in any weather that you lose the motivation to leave and explore the gorgeous dordogne.

We have a wonderful holiday in this beautiful home. Stunning location in small village close to Riberac. The accommodation is of a high standard, is very well appointed and was a perfect size for our group of two families (4 adults and 4 children aged between 7 and 11 years). The owners are very helpful before and during our stay and everything that you could possibly need is provided. There is a large swimming pool, a table tennis table, a child's swing, bikes, volleyball/badminton net and a large garden with a BBQ and large outdoor eating area. Nearby there is plenty to do including canoeing and visits to caves, churches, markets and castles. All in all a fantastic holiday, ten out of ten!

The villa was presented in a very pleasing manner. The booking experience was first class, with excellent joining instructions, with details sent through prior to setting off. Full Guides and instructions were present to explain the procedures for all things such as pool alarm, washing machines,

entertainment media. The owners telephoned us upon arrival to ensure we had arrived safely, which i felt was a nice touch, (not forgetting the two bottles of wine as a gift on arrival). Another nice touch.

The villa is very well equipped and maintained to a very high standard, with lots to offer. We made use of all amenities, especially the pool and extensive outdoor area.

Linen was changed weekly and the pool was clean, with excellent water quality. The grounds of the villa provide very good privacy, and you notice how peaceful and beautiful the surroundings area is. We made use of the bikes, table tennis, badminton, pool, library, dvds, boules, cards. The visitor book provides great recommendations into the places to visit and eat.

I would definitely recommend this villa for anyone wanting to visit this region. In a nutshell, great villa, great customer service from owners, and will definitely book again in future.

The property was better than described. It was located in a beautiful rural area and although quiet we found plenty to do within a fairly reasonable drive. Two good supermarkets and everything reasonably priced. It was a pleasure to cook lovely meals with a fantastically equipped kitchen. We also dined out in the beautiful garden and enjoyed the pool. Everything was as you would expect from a 5 star property. My teenage daughters summed it up when they arrived and looked around and said 'wow' . Had a lovely meal with entertainment on our last night at Chez Severine, a 10 minute walk down the hill. Even contacted on arrival by owner to check we were ok and greeted by french neighbour. All in all a lovely week and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property. Hope to come back!!!

Our family inc grandparents had a lovely stay at Les Boleaux last week. The property was exactly as described, clean, well maintained etc. The location is very rural/peaceful (and exactly per GPS co-ordinates which help for navigation purposes). The local town of Riberac has a nice feel with some good restaurants. Had a couple of rainy days and the extensive DVD/BLU selection was very useful for keeping the children occupied. The owners were helpful and gave us a courtesy call during the stay. Would recommend without hesitation.

We've just spent two fantastic weeks at this lovely property in the Dordogne. The owners have thought of absolutely everything to keep adults and children happy. We were a big family party with bossy grownups and children and there was not one argument! Plenty to do with pool equipment, games, space to play, lounge around and generally enjoy the area. Weather was on the whole very good - but the range of activities meant that it was not so important. Lots of lovely places to visit in the surrounding countryside including a nearby lake with cafes etc and free canoeing. The house was clean, well equipped with big rooms and a pretty outlook. We had such a great time.... many thanks and congratulations to Paul and Val on creating a super holiday venue.

This is one of those properties that you look at and dream of being there, in reality it is even better. There is so much space and it is fully equipped with every utensil that may be required. We had three glorious weeks at the house and had a superb holiday. After a long journey , we opened the front door and the view of the garden and pool through the dining room patio doors immediately told us we had picked the perfect holiday home. Our daughter , son-in-law and 14 month old grandson joined us after a week and they had the upstairs bedroom which they loved. The garden is very large and totally enclosed our golden cocker spaniel was perfectly safe. The pool is a delight and in temperatures of 30 C every day we made full use of it.

The new gazebo with table and chairs is ideal for eating outdoors and we enjoyed a BBQ plus the peace and tranquillity most nights. The stars are so much brighter here because there is no artificial lighting nearby.

The village shop is a brisk walk or easy bike ride away ( for bikes available at no extra charge ) and Riberac is only a couple of miles.

There are so many places to visit from this superb location , France at its very best. We would highly recommend this property and would love to come back again, more a wonderful way of life than just a holiday.

My sister, parents and I (with partners) and 2 small children (6 months and 3 years) spent a lovely week at the property.

We found the accommodation clean, spacious, extremely well equipped and fitted the bill exactly.

Administration prior to and following the holiday with the owner (paul) was seamless and Paul was very helpful - even recommending car hire firm from Begerac where we flew in to.

The pool was great, the property is very well maintained and we were able just tp get on with the business of having a holiday.

The location is convenient to Riberac. We did not travel far from the accommodation due to having small children, good weather and wanting to relax and spend time together.

Would suggest that for those flying from Leeds-Bradford and landing late - rty and consider food in Bergerac as it is too late to shop or catch a restaurant en route to the accommodation.

Highly recommended and would go back

My wife and I wanted to go to a very private and secluded villa with a pool so as we could spend our 30th wedding anniversary together and we found it, called Les Bouleaux, the villa was lovely the pool was great and we had complete privacy in fact it had everything we needed. Riberac is also a lovely town to visit and it has a street market on a Friday. Although my wife and I went alone this time, after spending a week there we are most definitely going back next to take our daughter and grandchildren because I just know they would love it there and there are lots of things to keep children having fun. If you are looking for the kind of holiday as myself and my wife, I would highly recommend you visit this villa and the weather was lovely it only rained for one day and after that it was so hot so don't forget take plenty of sun cream. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the owners Paul & Val for making it so welcoming for us when we arrived.
