Welcome to Mas de la Bimarde, a peaceful Provençal retreat in Monteux, at the heart of the Vaucluse.

Surrounded by the landscapes and relaxed atmosphere of Provence, the Mas has been created around the philosophy of “Slow Life” – a place to step away from everyday routines, spend time with family and friends and enjoy the simple pleasures of southern France.

The property offers four individual self-catering gîtes, each with its own private entrance and shaded terrace. Combining traditional character with modern comforts, the accommodation is equally suited to couples, families, groups of friends or larger parties wishing to reserve several cottages together.

All four gîtes feature comfortable living areas, equipped kitchens and reversible air conditioning, while the private terraces provide the perfect setting for breakfast, an evening aperitif or dinner accompanied by the sound of cicadas.

LE FRAISIER – 2 TO 3 GUESTS

A charming 37m² duplex, Le Fraisier is particularly suited to a couple or a small family.

On the ground floor is a bright living area with television and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and gas hob. There is also a separate WC and a single 90 x 190cm bed suitable for a child.

Upstairs, the attractive master bedroom has a 160 x 200cm double bed and its own private shower room with WC.

Both the living room and bedroom benefit from reversible air conditioning.

Outside, guests have an 8m² private south-facing shaded terrace, ideal for enjoying the Provençal climate.

LAVANDE – UP TO 6 GUESTS

Le Lavande is a spacious 68m² duplex offering flexible accommodation for families and groups of up to six.

Its position and through-layout help the property remain naturally cool during the summer, complemented by reversible air conditioning throughout.

The ground floor has a welcoming living room with television and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and gas hob. A separate WC is also provided.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, each with its own private shower room and WC.

The first bedroom can be arranged as either two 90 x 200cm single beds or one 180 x 200cm double.

The second offers particularly flexible sleeping arrangements, with modular beds and a trundle/pull-out bed. It can be configured to suit different combinations of adults and children.

Outside is a 12m² private shaded terrace, creating an attractive additional living and dining area.

Overlooking the wooded park, L'Olivier is a comfortable 65m² duplex particularly well suited to families and groups of friends.

On the ground floor is a bright open-plan living area with a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and television. The room enjoys views towards the park and pétanque court, while reversible air conditioning ensures comfort during the warmer months.

Upstairs are two bedrooms, both air-conditioned and each with a private shower room and WC.

The first bedroom offers either two 90 x 200cm single beds or one 180 x 200cm double bed.

The second combines a bunk bed with two additional modular beds, which can be configured as two singles or one large double.

A 12m² shaded terrace provides an excellent space for outdoor meals and relaxing after a day exploring Provence.

LE CITRON – UP TO 6 GUESTS

At 75m², Le Citron is the most spacious of the gîtes designed for six guests.

Located on the western side of the Mas, it enjoys attractive evening light and views towards the wooded park and pétanque area.

The ground floor provides a generous open-plan living space with television and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave and gas hob. There is also a separate WC and reversible air conditioning.

Upstairs are two independently air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own private shower room and WC.

The first can be configured with either two 90 x 200cm single beds or one 180 x 200cm double.

The second provides a bunk bed together with two modular beds, allowing the room to be adapted for families, children or groups of adults.

Outside, the 12m² private shaded terrace is a lovely place to enjoy an aperitif or relaxed evening meal as the sun sets over the grounds.

With Monteux as a base, guests are also ideally positioned for discovering the villages, vineyards, markets and historic towns of the Vaucluse.

WEDDINGS, PRIVATE EVENTS & CORPORATE SEMINARS

Mas de la Bimarde is also an attractive venue for weddings, private celebrations, family gatherings, seminars and corporate events, with the possibility of combining the estate's accommodation with its dedicated reception facilities.

At the heart of the event offering is La Verrière des Oliviers, a beautiful 100m² indoor-outdoor reception space, comprising approximately 75m² of covered reception area and a 25m² terrace. Large openings connect the space with the estate's century-old olive grove, creating a wonderful Provençal setting for celebrations, receptions and professional gatherings.

The venue can accommodate around 60 guests, with configurations for up to approximately 80 seated guests depending on the layout. Tables, chairs, table linen, chair covers and crockery can also be provided.

La Verrière des Oliviers is suitable for a wide variety of occasions, including weddings, birthdays, baptisms, communions and other private celebrations, as well as business meetings, seminars, product launches, team-building events, workshops, concerts and performances.

For events requiring overnight accommodation, it is also possible to arrange exclusive use of the estate, combining La Verrière des Oliviers and the outdoor areas with the accommodation at Mas de la Bimarde. This makes the property particularly appealing for residential seminars, family celebrations and multi-day events, allowing guests to stay together on site while enjoying the peaceful surroundings of the Mas.
