Medieval Cottage in Beynac-et-Cazenac, France - La Petite Maison Reviews

The cottage is completely charming and the owners have thought of every detail to make it comfortable and beautiful - even more so than the very inviting photographs. Vincent was extremely efficient and helpful prior to the trip - providing us with a great deal of useful information and perspective. The kitchen was perfect and we loved eating out on the patio. The location is central to more sites and restaurants than you can possibly take in - we enjoyed several fascinating castles, caves and markets as well as canoeing the river, landing just a block below the house. My favorites were Chateau Marquessac's garden paths lined with candles, Chateau Losse with its Renaissance furnishings and lovely gardens, La Roque's cute shops, and all of the markets - especially St Cyprien and Sarlat. We had a really wonderful stay and we highly recommend it.
