We had a wonderfully peaceful, quiet week in what is a home from home. The owners, Carl and Agneta, have clearly invested much time and effort in updating the property, which is cosy, well-appointed, secluded and spacious. The garden is well-stocked and, most importantly, not overlooked.

Granted, there is little to do in Laurens itself but then sit in the garden with a glass of wine reading a book under the shade of the trees and listen to the silence: no noisy neighbours and no traffic, just tranquillity. There is plenty to do in the surrounding areas: Beziers (shopping), Pezenas (antiques), Aigues Mortes (sight-seeing) and any number of wonderful beaches.

I couldn't recommend this property more highly.
