Beautiful Honfleur Holiday Cottage in Calvados, Normandy Reviews

A real gem

This lovely gite ticked every box for us - secluded in beautiful woodland with non-stop bird watching opportunities yet so very close to the beach and the bustling harbour of Honfleur. We stayed for two weeks and had several outings to nearby places such as Deauville. The gite is very well set out and comfortable. We ate in most of the time and the cooking fascilities were good. In the evening we sat in comfort and normally played cards with a glass of wine.

Our holiday was topped by an invitation on our final night to have drinks with the owners at the chateaux. Leonora and Carl made perfect hosts and absolutely made our holiday with their amazing hospitality.

We where thrilled to have found such a gem and I will certainly be recommending it to friends!!
