La Riaute cottage is set amongst lovely open countryside and is just 3 fields away from the village of Villiers which is host to its own bar/restaurant/shop. This charming former farm workers cottage has been tastefully restored and is located just inside the Brenne national park and on the edge of the Loire valley with its famous chateaux. The cottage comprises a well equipped kitchen, lounge and dining area in one large room (30m²). The room has exposed wooden beams, feature stone wall, wooden parquet floor and is painted in Farrow and Ball paints. The well equipped kitchen comprises painted wooden units, with oak work surfaces, a gas hob/oven and extractor fan, built in dishwasher and fridge with freezer compartment. There is a separate outside utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board, next to the courtyard garden. The bedroom (15m²) has original terracotta floor, white wooden beams and is painted in Farrow and Ball paints and comprises double bed with wardrobe, dressing table, bedside tables and the 2 windows give views over open fields.

utside, there are two patio areas, one in the garden which has sun all day and boasts superb views over the fields, and a little courtyard patio which offers more shade. Both have seating and tables, plus a bbq. There is a herb border near the kitchen door and provides most culinary needs. The garden has various fruit trees (peaches, cherries, pears, plums) and there is a small vegetable area where you will find salad items for your meals ) like tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, rocket, courgettes, spring onions etc) There is a separate outside utility room with washing machine, iron and ironing board Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All linen and towels included.
