Situated in the heart of Gascony, Le Prielle offers a wide variety of opportunities for those wishing to holiday in the area.

Close to the market towns of Plaisance du Gers, Vic en Bigorre, Maubourguet and Aire sur l’Adour visitors are spoilt for choice when looking for quality regional produce.

In addition to the Madiran Appellation, the areas around Madiran include the wine growing regions of St Mont, Juracon and the Bearn. In addition, within easy reach, to the north is the Armagnac region and some of the most charming towns in South West France.

For those interested in exploring the area, Le Prielle is within easy reach of the Pyrenees mountains, which offer a wide variety of activities, and the French Atlantic coast and the Cote d’Argent.

For lovers of beautiful countryside, good food, fine wine and a more relaxed pace of life, Le Prielle offers an ideal holiday location.

Le Prielle is situated in the heart of the Madiran wine growing area of the Haute Pyrenees in the South West of France.

Surrounded by vineyards, the property is on the borders of the Gers, Pyrenees Atlantique and Haute Pyrenees in the heart of Gascony and close to the Pyrenees mountains and the beaches of the Cote d’Argent.

The accommodation comprises four beautifully restored Gites which have been created from renovated barns, in the grounds of an old Chateau, dating from 1745.

We have a children’s’ play area with playhouse and very large sandpit, football and rugby posts and table tennis.


La Grange:

2 bedrooms, shower room, lounge, dining area & fully equipped kitchen. In total – 110 square metres (approx 1200 square feet). This gite has been fully redecorated for 2021.
An adjoining door leading to Gite 4 (Le Chai) enabling the 2 gites to be let together for larger groups, and families, or as 2 individual units. Ideal for 2 families, or large groups, wishing to holiday together. Wood burning stove. 

• Each gite has its own private garden, with ‘Outback’ gas BBQ, dining area & garden furniture – however guests are welcome to explore the whole grounds, including the woods.
• The Gites are Child friendly, a cot, pram, carry cot, high chair & plenty of toys, puzzles and games are all available on request.
• A television, DVD, Video machine and satellite TV, with English Freeview channels are available in all gites. A selection of both English & French DVD’s & Video’s are also available on request.
• Internet access is also available to customers. WIFI connection is available on the Veranda.
• Table Tennis, Badminton plus mini bar games – air hockey & table football are available to kids of all ages!
• Tennis Courts, both indoor & outdoor are also available to visitors with us.
• Laundry is provided, at no extra charge.
• Pets welcome – by arrangement.

A deposit for breakages is required, and is fully refunded, providing the Gite & all properties are returned in the same condition as provided.

Gites should be returned clean & tidy, with all furniture back in its original position!

The fridge, cooker, microwave & BBQ and bathrooms must be thoroughly cleaned.
All floors should be swept & mopped prior to departure.
A surcharge, of 100€ per Gite, will be taken out of the deposit; to cover our costs of cleaning; should the Gite NOT be returned in the same clean condition.
An optional cost; by pre-arrangement; for us to clean on your departure is available at 75€.
