Holiday Cottage in Bricquebec, Manche, Normandy - La Lande Gite Kestrel

La Lande is a tastefully restored 18th century character farmhouse with two large beautifully appointed, well equiped holiday cottages.

We are set in a peaceful hamlet away from the traffic, 20 minutes from the port of Cherbourg and on the outskirts of the Medieval market town of Bricquebec.

We are just 15 minutes from the stunning, safe beaches of the west coast and the chic seaside resorts of Barneville and Carteret with their outstanding restaurants and ferries to Jersey. The D-Day landing beaches are also within easy reach; with St. Mere Eglise just 20 minutes drive from us.

Both cottages are spacious and light with high quality fixtures and fittings yet at the same time retaining many of the original features. Particular attention has been made to ensure quality furnishings throughout. We have endeavoured to make your Normandy holiday cottage like a home from home.

Both gites have a terrace and our 2 acres of garden offer you plenty more space to play and relax. In a gorgeous location, set in 10 acres of peaceful countryside with lovely terraces and large private gardens.

The gites are adjacent and can be rented together to make a five bedroom holiday home. We also offer top quality bed and breakfast rooms for your Normandy vacation.

KESTREL GITE - SLEEPS 4
 

Kestrel has a very large sitting/kitchen/dining room with 2 sets of French doors which lead to your own terraces front and back. Huge leather sofas; farmhouse pine table and 6 chairs and a well equipped kitchen.

Two double bedrooms upstairs overlook the back gardens. The first has an en-suite bathroom and is large enough to sleep 3 people with a king sized bed and a cot if required. The second twin room has zip-link beds which can either be separate, or joined together to make a 6′ king-sized bed as required. This room has an adjacent ‘family’ shower room with a power shower. All beds are supplied with high quality duvets, pillows and quality bed linen.

An HD LCD TV (UK reception) with DVD player, Wi-Fi, microwave, gas hob, electric oven, large fridge (small freezer), dishwasher, automatic washing machine; power shower, stair gates, travel cot, baby bath, high chair, full central heating; Outside: BBQ, table and chairs (front and back) Trampoline, Swings, Table Football and Table Tennis.
