The location and the beauty of the Château were unexpected! The host family were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was authentic French food and was delicious. We stayed here as it is close to some of the most beatiful Chateaux's in the Loire Valley. The property is amazing as is the surrounding views of the countryside.

Very enjoyable. We enjoyed strolling in the grounds. Minor points only need addressing.

Exceptional
Staying here was a fairy tale dream come true. It is a true castle fitted with 5 rooms to keep your experience authentic. The suites a cozy, and you have access to other mideval rooms - the sitting area and dining room. We were greeted by the family, descendants of the Ternays. A beautiful breakfast was served in the dining hall. We wandered around the property to get the feel of mideval times.
I cant recommend this stay high enough!!!!!!!

Loved the building and was delightful to meet the owner. Rooms were arrayed in gorgeous antiques and bathrooms were modern and well furnished. Will return next time we’re in the Loire!

Truly authentic experience in the families chateau . If you want typical hotel forget ..it if you want a truly exceptional experience in an amazing surrounding in a real lived in family chateau then would highly recommend …young family continuing the tradition of remaining living in the chateaux and allowing people to get a feel of life there .

This is an opportunity to stay in a significant Chateau. The current Chateau is the third on the site with the first dating from the 800's. It is magnificent and still the home of the owners since the 16th century. Beautiful, tranquil, with an amazing experience as part of your stay. The pleasure of meeting three generations of the family, the chance to feel life as it has been for centuries while having all modern conveniences was a life experience.
