Grenier Les Bouts’ is a true gem, ideally positioned in the sought after village of La Cote d’Arbroz, just 5 minutes from the chairlifts on Mont Chery and 10 minutes from Morzine.

This stunning mountain escape offers incredible, far-reaching views across the Portes du Soleil, of which we promise you will not tire. Inside and out the finishes and special touches ooze with quality. It is a detached stone building over 125 years old previously used for grain storage for the main house and farm.

With a friendly restaurant, a depot du pain, ski hire companies delivering right to the door and meal deliveries available locally, a stay with us is ideal for those who want to enjoy the quieter areas, stunning views and calm local pistes yet still be a stone’s throw from the action.

Our team is just us, Katie, Mark and our two children and we are on hand to help out where needed. We’ve lived here for over 13 years and have a wealth of knowledge to help you pack your experience to the brim. We are more than happy to advise you on where to ski or eat, directing you on the best road, down hill or off grid biking routes as well as pointing you to must visit places.

The Accommodation:

The upper floor comprises of an entrance through patio doors from the balcony into an open plan living area exposing the high vaulted ceiling. The snug lounge area, together with a log-burning stove, creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere where you can curl up on the sofa during those snowy winter nights. Vin chaud on the balcony in the winter or a cool glass of crisp white wine relaxing on the patio in the summer are a must.

There’s a new wooden floor, a sofa and furnishings in warm muted colours, a well-equipped kitchen in Shaker olive green and a log-stocked wood-burner for lazy nights in. 

Stairs lead downstairs to the bedroom and ensuite rain shower room. There are further French patio doors from the bedroom leading onto a private patio with bistro table, chairs and top of the range BBQ.

We know you won’t be disappointed with choosing to stay in this unique hideaway and as a result will want to come back again and again.

We offer a minimum of 2 nights stay. One night stays may be possible please ask.

Our properties are strictly non-smoking and we are sorry but we do not allow guests to bring their pets.

Fondue and raclette machines available on request. 

There’s also a patio for a barbecue.

The Surrounding Area

Many superb restaurants serving traditional Savoyard dishes only a short drive away.
In true French style Wednesday markets are part of life here in the nearby towns and are a must for local produce or merely to soak up the French way of life.
Skiing, snowboarding, snow shoeing, mountain biking, road biking and mountain hiking can be found right on the doorstep.
Morzine and Les Gets, only a short drive to both, arrange fantastic events throughout the year, from concerts to flood lit skiing.
The Portes du Soleil boasts to be the largest ski area in the world and caters for all abilities. skiing and snowboard lessons in the winter and biking lessons in the summer can easily be arranged as well as equipment hire. The chairlift is a short drive, and the resort of Morzine (restaurants, bars, mountain trails) is a ten-minute drive.
