Farmhouse, Barn and Pavilion in quiet location near Rouffignac st Cernin de Reillac Reviews

We had a wonderful time at this house. The grounds are amazingly wild and beautiful. There's plenty to do for all ages in the area and the village is friendly with a great Sunday market. there's everything you need in the village. The accommodation is old farmhouse style but quiet and comfortable.

My family and I love Le Placial. We have had holidays there for the past three years and look forward to next year's visit. There is plenty of room for everyone both indoors and out. The house is secluded, peaceful, with just the sound of birds and the rustle of trees in a breeze. We love spending days by the pool and evenings looking out across the meadow with a glass of wine, waiting to hear the nightjar. The area has plenty to offer with interesting towns and villages, historic sites and caves, lakes, rivers for canoeing and lovely walks. The gardens and land around the house are perfect for badminton, jogging, mushroom hunting and rambling. The village of Rouffignac has everything you might need and there are some great evenings to be had tasting local farmers' produce. We recommend the Petit Leon restaurant in St Léon sur Vezere for excellent food and a great setting.
