That's exactly what we wanted to create at Beau Rivage.
Sleeping up to 15 guests across six bedrooms, Beau Rivage works particularly well for larger families, two families sharing a holiday and multi-generational stays where grandparents, parents and children can all be together, while still having plenty of space.
For younger guests, there's a dedicated indoor playroom, enclosed garden and private heated swimming pool, which is fully fenced for added peace of mind.
For the grown-ups, there's plenty of space to slow down too, including comfortable outdoor living areas and an adults-only hot tub — particularly lovely once the children are tucked up for the night.
And then there's the location.
Beau Rivage sits within easy walking distance of the village, so morning croissants, cafés, restaurants and local markets don't always require getting everyone into the car.
When you do want the beach, some of the Vendée's beautiful sandy coastline is only around five minutes away by car.
Days here can be as simple or as busy as you want them to be.
Spend the morning around the pool. Wander into the village for lunch. Cycle through the surrounding forest trails. Head to the beach for the afternoon. Or simply stay at Beau Rivage and enjoy having everyone together.
