Our stay at Jasmine was delightful. The gardens were still beautiful in mid-October and one of our most memorable experiences was sitting in the garden with a bottle of wine, an artisan baguette from the nearby boulangerie, and a slice of morbier cheese. We felt very lucky to have stumbled on this little apartment in a charming town and will recommend it to friends in the future.

What a fantastic gite. Despite being compact there was a place for every holiday essential. All the welcome extras left by Robyn were great especially wine, muffins and home made jam. An added bonus was the gorgeous garden where we ate and relaxed on a night , listening to the Jazz being played by the port. It was a treat for us to be able to walk to nearby restaurants and cafes. Robyn left a list of her favourite ones. We were easy driving distance to other towns and coastal villages. Last but not least we must mention Molly. We did try to get her in our case but no luck. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Robyn and Russ are great hosts. It had all of the amenities we needed. The outside garden is beautiful and is a great place to eat. Great location. We had a great stay.

From the moment we met our charming host Robyn we knew we were in for something special in our choice of stay at her property, Jasmine in lovely Dinan. We could not fault anything from the adorable property itself, it's fantastic location right in the heart of things (equidistant to the old town, as it was the river port) and not to mention how welcome Robyn made us feel (nothing was too much trouble for her). A truly wonderful stay, one of those places that you know instantly you'll be much tempted to return to. Thank you! Rob & Jude

Once again we had a brilliant time in Dinan. This year we stayed in Jasmine but have stayed in Albertine previously. The garden was in full bloom - it is hard to wrench yourself away from it. Again, Robyn could not do enough for you - going over and above to make your stay comfortable. She provides a well stocked store cupboard and a lovely welcome pack. Dinan is a beautiful city and the pub by St Saviours we now call our "local". I guarantee you will have a great time.

We stayed at the property in the first week of June. We had a fantastic time and were very impressed by the property and the owners/hosts. First, the property is beautiful. Fully modernized, and impeccably outfitted. Despite it's compact size, it featured a fully functional cooktop, microwave, coffee and tea accessories, appropriate dinner/silverware etc. The bedroom has a king bed!. What you cannot see from most of the on-line pictures, and what must be seen to be believed, is the amazingly private garden that is a centerpiece of the property. Our rooms looked out onto this garden and with the windows open you could both see and smell the amazing flowers. When you are sitting on the patio in the garden you feel like you are in a private and secret garden. Relaxation was instantaneous. It truly is a "hidden idyll" within the city proper.

Second, the location is perfect for exploring and enjoying Dinan's historic center. Dinan has an upper town, and a section of the town that is down on the river at the port. The property is about mid-way down Rue de La Petit Fort--the main connecting tissue--between these two parts of the city. Robin and Ross, our hosts were extremely accommodating. Getting into Dinan and finding an address isn't like doing so in Kansas. Streets signs are small and not necessarily optimally placed, and fully understanding that, Robin met us at a "findable" location within the city and hand-led us down to the apartment. She also helped us locate a local grocery, had good suggestions on dining and sites within the area, and helped me figure out how to use the gas pumps to fill up our rental. She's originally a New Zealander so she speaks English.

To note: you should appreciate that the apartment we had, though complete and beautifully appointed was small; almost ship-like in its scale and efficiency. We were fine with it, BUT there is not much room for luggage, and I might try for the larger apartment if I had lots of suitcases. Second, it's a two story, so if you are slightly less physically capable, you might find the upstairs bedroom a bit of a challenge. (You're also going to find walking around Dinan itself to be so as well).

Overall? Would go back in a heartbeat! Really enjoyed our stay. Great property. Great people. Fantastic city to explore. And their dog Molly was the perfect greeter for any and all guests. Made us wish our dog had come along for the vacation too.

We loved staying in this most beautiful garden cottage on a very quaint cobblestone street in old Dinan! We enjoyed the lovely garden - 2 levels overlooking the rooftops of Dinan. Robyn was a wonderful hostess! This has spoiled us, no other place will ever be as perfect as this one! I highly recommend it and wish we could have stayed longer.

We were very lucky to have chosen Jasmine for an 18 day stay in July. The cottage is charming and setting in an English style garden, is beautiful. Could not fault anything from the freshly made muffins on arrival to the friendliness of Robyn and little Molly. We used Jasmine as a base to explore surrounding areas - Mt St Michel, St Malo and other places, but we were just as happy pottering around in the village and surrounds. A glass of wine with Robyn and other guests in the garden after a busy day was a good ending. Thank you so much Robyn, for your hospitality, we feel we have become members of your family. We will be back.

Robyn's welcome was friendly. The property is very central, and was very clean and as described. The gardens are delight. Dinan is a pleasant, interesting town to explore and to use as a base for venturing further afield. If you are looking for a place to stay in Dinan, I would certainly recommend Jasmine.

We stayed in Jasmine Cottage for 8 nights and wished we'd booked for longer. Jasmine is such a spotlessly clean, superbly maintained cottage, perfectly positioned in the heart of the old town between the centre and the port. Both of those areas provide a wide choice of shops, restaurants and bars. If you like walking, the tow path along the river takes you to the "chocolate box" village of Lehon in one direction (about 1/2 an hour) and the village of Lyvet in the other (1.1/2 hours) which has a delightful marina side restaurant.

Back to Jasmine, the gardens of the cottage are a wonderful oasis, providing quiet seclusion and relaxation. The cottage is small but don't be put off by that. We had our doubts when we booked but needn't have worried. It is so well designed and furnished and beautifully cosy, it does provide everything you need. We loved it and would certainly go back. The added bonus with Jasmine is that Robyn (the owner) is so lovely and she provided all the little extras which made our stay so special. Butter, milk and home made jam along with delicious home made muffins removed the need to dash out to the shops as soon as we arrived, not to mention the wine and sparkling water in the fridge. We would certainly recommend it to family and friends (it was recommended to us) and we could not have made a better choice.
