Charming Accessible Gîte with Swimming Pool & Jacuzzi in the Isère Countryside
Escape to the peaceful countryside of the Dauphiné region and enjoy a relaxing stay in this charming single-storey gîte, ideally situated between the Paris region and the South of France.
Surrounded by open countryside and enjoying beautiful views towards the Drôme hills and the Alps, the property provides a wonderfully tranquil setting with a meadow, garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi. The famous Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval is also just a short distance away, making this an excellent base for discovering this fascinating part of Isère.
Recently renovated with improved exterior insulation, the gîte combines countryside charm with modern comfort and is open from 15 March until 15 October each year.
THE ACCOMMODATION
Offering approximately 55 m² of accommodation entirely on one level, the gîte is particularly well suited to couples and families. Its single-storey design and easy access also make it suitable for guests with reduced mobility, including wheelchair users.

OUTDOOR LIVING, POOL & JACUZZI
The gîte has its own private entrance and direct access to the garden, swimming pool and jacuzzi, creating a wonderful environment for relaxing during the warmer months.
Guests can enjoy the peaceful countryside surroundings, relax beside the pool or spend an evening unwinding in the jacuzzi. Bathrobes are provided for additional comfort.
An electric barbecue is also available for outdoor cooking, except during periods when its use may be prohibited by local authorities.
Please note that guests are required to follow the safety and usage instructions provided for both the swimming pool and jacuzzi. During periods of severe drought or heatwave, local water restrictions may prevent the swimming pool from being topped up and consequently affect its availability.
PRIVATE PARKING & ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING
Access to the property is through a large remote-controlled wooden entrance gate, followed by a gravel driveway with ample room for turning and manoeuvring.
A private carport provides convenient parking close to the entrance of the gîte.
An electric charging point is available for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles under the carport, with charging available for €6.
LOCAL AMENITIES
Despite its peaceful countryside setting, everyday amenities are within easy reach.
The town of Beaurepaire, approximately 3 km away, provides a good selection of shops and services, while a supermarket can be found approximately 1 km from the property.
Guests can also purchase fresh regional produce directly from neighbouring farmers – a wonderful opportunity to enjoy authentic local flavours during their stay.
TABLE D'HÔTES
A table d'hôtes service is available exclusively for guests staying at the property.
A menu will be presented in advance, with guests generally asked to select one menu for the entire table, although certain variations may be possible.
Please note that full-board accommodation is not available. À la carte dishes and drinks may also be offered.
RATES & BOOKING CONDITIONS
Gîte:
€160 per night
€780 for 7 nights – representing approximately a 30% weekly discount.
Minimum stay: 3 nights
Optional bed linen and towels: €80
For additional guests requiring an extra bed, a supplement of €80 per person applies, regardless of the duration of the stay.
For stays longer than one week, bed linen is changed every seven nights.
Tourist tax: €0.61 per adult, per night. Guests under 18 are exempt.
A 30% deposit is required to confirm the reservation.
Upon arrival, guests are required to pay the outstanding balance together with a €300 refundable security deposit. The security deposit will be returned following departure and inspection of the property, provided no damage has occurred.

The property is strictly non-smoking.
Unfortunately, dogs and cats can no longer be accepted.

One of the area's most famous attractions is the extraordinary Palais Idéal du Facteur Cheval at Hauterives, a unique architectural monument created over more than 30 years by postman Ferdinand Cheval.
Closer to home, Revel-Tourdan itself is well worth exploring. This historic village has origins stretching back to Roman times and lies on a traditional pilgrimage route towards Santiago de Compostela. Visitors can discover the Château de Barbarin, old washhouse, Priory Church of Notre-Dame and other historic buildings.
The surrounding Dauphiné countryside offers numerous opportunities for walking, cycling and horse riding. The Chambaran area is particularly attractive for nature lovers, with extensive woodland trails and wildlife including deer, mouflon and wild boar.
History and culture enthusiasts can explore several nearby châteaux, including Bressieux, Septème, Pupetières and Jarcieu, while La Côte-Saint-André and the archaeological heritage around Vienne and Saint-Romain-en-Gal provide further interesting days out.
