Beautiful Chateau.
Excellent experience.
Lovely house, beautiful gardens trees and fountains.
Food first class complimented by their own wines produced on site.
Discretely secluded naturist pool.
Perfect retreat for quiet and relaxation.
Wonderful hosts.

The most beautiful chateau, with the most open and sweet hosts.
Chateau Rieutort is really a great place where everyone is welcome.
We are a rainbow family, with two mothers and our three children aged 7, 10 and 14.
Karina and Peter as the Owner of the Chateau, welcomed us with open arms and cold rosé, just what we needed.
They were the most fantastic hosts who would like to talk and tell and we ⁇ several times good talking with them. They had really good recommendations in terms of sights and restaurants.
The orangery we lived in, was so fine decorated and had 2 delicious terraces that we ⁇ sitting on in the evenings.
Certainly not the last time we visit this lovely place.

Great family vacation at Château Rieutort
We had a great time at Château Rieutort. We were 2 families (9 persons), each with young boys ( 3yrs to 11 yes old). We asked for a place which will enable us to be together all the time but with privacy. The communication with Karina was very good and we got a place with 2 master bedroom for the parents and a room with 2 beds next to each couple. We had a shared living room and a kitchen in which we spend a lot of time cooking. On the porch we had a great big jacuzzi in which the boys had a lot of fun. The domain it self looks great and is very quiet. There are 2 pools- one for naturalists which is separate and the "dressed" one in which we spent a lot of time. The winery is great and we had tasting with Peter. We spent a week which passed very quickly. We cooked many meals. The kitchen was super equipped with every thing we needed. Though it was sometimes hot outside, we didn't need the fans as the walls are thick. The location is very good. We traveled a lot , to attractions, to the beach, to sail, to hike... the traffic was low even though high season and we got good recommendations from Peter, I would recommend going to the beach, to the famous cave and to kayak. We only ate our first breakfast at the domain and it was very good. Many supermarkets around, I would recommend the Carrefour which is 6 min away end has everything and good quality and prices. Restaurants- there are many, would reserve in advance. If you'd like to hire a serious boat- should also reserve in advance. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend. We should have drank more wine.

Wonderful stay next to Pézenas
We extended our stay in the area by one day and were able to book a night at the castle! What a memorable Welcoming, access codes communicated the same morning to drop off our car and walk in the enchanting park, the vineyards around, discovery of small, shady and romantic corners dotted with fountains and statues, swimming in the pool before the scheduled time of Welcoming by the owners and unlimited in the evening. Offer of dinner at the nearby guinguette they had reserved just in case for their customers because without reservation there is no place open on Monday evening! Not to mention the wine tasting offered, the pantagruelic breakfast, served outside so that we could still enjoy the setting, and the delicate attention to leave with fruits and sandwiches because our road was long. The room is very clean, comfortable with a fridge. The decor is a bit old for our taste but we have to come to terms with the life of de Chateau! There is also a spa that has been offered to us. Many thanks to Karina and Peter for their very warm, attentive and simple Welcoming that make the place even more magical.
