Perfect retreat
This was our second time staying with Jenny and we will definitely return. The apartment is charming and the house is ideally located if you're looking for peace and quiet in nature. At the same time, you can quickly get to fashionable St. Tropez or the port of Grimaud. The nearby vineyards are also worth a visit. We were there by bike and found very few mountain bike-friendly trails. Otherwise, you have to deal with the busy traffic. The friendly owners gave us restaurant recommendations, and we are also enthusiastic about the excellent cuisine of the South of France. Jenny and her husband take great care of the grounds, and it's a pleasure to lie by the pool and admire the beautifully landscaped garden. Breakfast can be enjoyed wonderfully on the terrace directly in front of the kitchen.

Huge quiet property with old stone house.
The old stone house "La Marmotte" is located adjacent to the main house on a very large, beautiful property called "La Borie." Our terrace was covered with wisteria, which provides shade from the sun. It was simply wonderful to drink your morning coffee on the terrace and enjoy the panorama, which is at times breathtaking. The main house has a large pool, which we used daily. There's also a barbecue area next door. There are two fig trees behind the house, and if you're lucky, the jays leave ripe figs for us to eat. We were lucky, and they were delicious. There's also a boules court. The typical game of "pentanque" is played a lot in France. The landlady, Jenny, was very attentive to our well-being and asked how we were from time to time. We liked that. All in all, this place is wonderfully quiet, with lots of nature, birds, and butterflies that round out the whole experience. La Garde Freinet is not far away, where you can stroll through the small streets. Port Grimaud is also worth a visit, and everything is close by. We were impressed by the La Borie estate and look forward to returning to La Marmotte next year.

Those seeking peace
The house is in a beautiful, quiet location. It's simply gorgeous. The gazebo is perfect for breakfast, the swimming pool is perfect for cooling off, and there's a nearby restaurant for dining. We'd love to come back.

DREAM HOLIDAY
Superb rental, quiet, very well appointed and equipped, tastefully decorated. Everything is provided, including linens and towels. The pool is top-notch and very popular during this hot weather. A haven of peace. Chantal

Lovely quiet house with swimming pool
We had two wonderful weeks here. The house itself is small, but well equipped. The grounds are huge with a fantastic swimming pool, which we could use privately. The house is on a mountain, so you have to take a winding road to get there and do the shopping, but that was no problem for us. The communication with the owner was very good and friendly. Small problems are solved immediately.

If you like beautiful nature and peace, this is the place for you.
We had a very peaceful, enjoyable time in this somewhat secluded spot. The house offers everything you need. The instructions for use were clear. Upon arrival, refreshments were waiting for us in the fridge, which we loved. However, it was already very hot in the house at night. The pool was the highlight and a great way to cool off.

Just beautiful
Superb and very pleasant property, perfect for a couple. Ideally located for visiting the region. The accommodation has everything you need for a great vacation. The pool and garden are all well-maintained and pretty.
