The area
Located in Azillanet, this holiday home is in a rural area. Dolmen des Fades and St. Julian's and St. Basil's Church are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Cave les Trois Blasons and Le Pech d'André. Kayaking and windsurfing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with cycling and hiking nearby.

It's great to cycle through the vineyards surrounding the village. Walking and hiking trails also surround the village. Lake swimming (Lac Jouarres) is 10 min drive away, fantastic river swimming is within a 20 min drive (Agel). A supermarket, banks, cafes and other shops are only 5 minutes away in Olonzac. The fabulous Cathar village of Minerve is the next village, just over 3km away and the Unesco world heritage site of the Canal du Midi is about 5km away. The beaches of the Mediterranean are about a 35 minute drive and the old walled city of Carcassonne is a 25 minute drive.
