“Very perfect! Nice and very clean villa, with everything you need! The pool is great and there‘s a poolboy, who will clean the pool very polite & secret. Graham gives you all informations you need really quickly and very polite. It was a great location for summervacations! The kitchen is unbelievabel good situated, with everything you need (and more!). There are 3 restrooms and 2 showers. There‘s a whirlpool too, but we don‘t need it, because the weather was hot & great. We really recommend this place, we called it the little paradise. When you‘re in a need, the owner Graham gives you answers and informations very quickly. Perfect for couples or familys!”

What a fantastic part of France this is. The lovely town of Pézenas, the beautiful beach at Vendres (worth the drive) is lovely and quiet, the historically rich town of Nímes and the wonderful La Maison Alex to relax. Thank you for many wonderful memories.

We quickly learned that the village of Castelnau de Guers is agreat village - a fab location for Pézenas, Marseillan and many gorgeous places to visit. The village boulangerie is fab! Our 1st visit to this region of France has been very enjoyable- much less pretentious than Cote d'Azur! The villa exceeded our expectations in terms of both size and facilities. It had everything we could ever need. We thoroughly enjoyed our visits to nearby Pézenas, Beziers Marseillan, Montpellier, Valras Plage and Meze but the highlight had to be kayaking down L'Herault (despite capsizing!) Many thanks - and the guidance notes were excellent.

This is a lovely villa. As well as being close to the village and 5 mins to Pézenas, it really is very comfortable and has been the perfect place to entertain friends. Loved the villa, especially the pool! A must with the temperature as high as they have been. Our first time this far south and well worth the drive.We have done beaches, shopping outlets, chilled around the pool and travelled around the local area. Our favourite was Carcassonne old Cité. Would love to return sometime soon.

The Sherwoods

Due to the uncertainty surrounding travel as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, we unfortunately had to cancel our much anticipated stay at La Maison Alex. Graham was a pleasure to deal with, extremely efficient from start to finish and very kindly agreed to refund our deposit without delay. We sincerely hope we can rebook again in the near future.
