La Jacquetiere is a beautifully renovated farmhouse gite perfect for holidaymakers and travellers who want to relax in the tranquility of 'true' France. La Jacquetiere sleeps six people and boasts the comforts of the modern home whilst maintaining all the charm of French rural lifestyle. Set right back from the centre of the humble hamlet of Le Chatelier, up a winding country lane, La Jacquetiere enjoys peaceful tranquility with no road noise, no passing traffic (other than the very occasional tractor) and no noisy neighbours.

The Loire Valley is a cyclist's paradise, with long, flat, quiet roads through Touraine and the 'land of a thousand ponds'. The Brenne National Park provides stunning routes for cyclists and ramblers.

The nearest supermarket is a 10 minute drive away in Liguiel with the busier town of Descartes just a 15 minute drive away boasting a bustling small town, shops and supermarkets, a municipal swimming pool and campsite, Sunday morning market, restaurants, cafes and cars. Le Grand Pressigny is 10 minutes away and has a boulagerie, mini-market, bars and an old castle and grounds open for visitors. Loches is the nearest tourist town with Saturday and Wednesday morning markets, restaurants and bars, university and shops.
