What a spectacular area. This would be considered a hidden gem since Pertus is not in a bustling town. This is a tiny hamet right out of a fairy tale.

Janine and Justine have honestly thought of everything you could possibly want or need. You are greeted with a bottle of wine, cheese and freshly bake local bread.

We have travelled all over |France for many years and Le Pertus must rank as just about the best location we have had. From the standard of the accommodation, the facilities, the pool and the surrounding area this just about ticks every box.
We cannot think of a better place for relaxation, peace and quiet.

We had a very good vacation in the Old Barn. Very nice gite with a lot of comfort. Lazy dreaming at the pool :) A lot to see in nature and culture around La Bastide l'Eveque.
Janine and Justin, but also the French people in this region of France were very friendly.

We arrived early at Pertus and were greeted by Janine and Justin.we really appreciated the welcome pack which included Brie fresh baguette and most importantly wine ! Once we were shown round we were left to enjoy our holiday and saw very little of the owners but they were always on hand should we need any help. A perfect quiet retreat where the only real noise was from the variety of wildlife. There was many places to visit and not actually that far would highly recommend if you need a rest

Simply the best Gite we have stayed in. The immediate location is wonderfully peaceful however there are many beautiful towns and villages to explore within an hour. Justine and Janice made us very welcome and whilst happy to help were also very discreet. The Gite is well equipped and it felt like a real home from home. Cycling and walking are accessible from the door and the wonderful private pool made our stay complete. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

We spent a very relaxing & comfortable week in The Old Barn, which is very well equipped. It's extremely peaceful in beautiful surroundings, only the wildlife to be heard. Pool was lovely to have as it was extremely hot while we were there. A great week spent in a gorgeous part of France.

We had a lovely relaxing week at The Old Barn in Pertus. This was our second visit, the accommodation is excellent and Janine and Justin are very helpful hosts. There are lovely walks directly from the house as well as lots to see and do in the surrounding towns and countryside. The pool is wonderful.

Such a beautiful house set amidst stunning scenery . Everything you could want for a lovely holiday is provided ,and Janine and Justin are welcoming,kind and helpful .Don't expect twenty four hour access to everything , this is French time, -- relax over a long lunch and enjoy it

We had a wonderful week at the very well appointed Old Barn. Lazy days by the superb pool mixed with day trips around the wonderful Aveyron countryside and local bastide towns. We also enjoyed our walks near the house, especially to the top of the nearby hill where the views are outstanding. Janine and Justin were perfect hosts, there when you needed them, invisible when you didn't, and we were especially impressed with a most generous welcome basket on arrival. Simply a brilliant holiday!
