Special Rental Conditions
Deposit
15. The Deposit of €1,000 must be paid in full to secure the booking of the Holiday Home.
16. The Deposit will be held by the Owner and will ensure the Holiday Home is blocked out and not offered for rental for the secured Holiday Period.
17. €500 of the Deposit will be held to offset the costs against the reasonable repair or replacement of the contents, inside and outside of the Holiday Home, including the outdoor pool area and surrounding land (otherwise than by usual wear and tear) during the Holiday Period as a result of any damage by the Guest or the Guest’s family.
18. Subject to clauses 34-40, the total deposit, or in the event of any damage, the balance of the Deposit, will be returned to the Guest within 14 days of the Departure Date.
Payment
19. The Rental Fee will be agreed between the Owner and the Guest prior to the Owner accepting the booking and receiving the Deposit.
20. The Rental Fee will be due 90 days in advance of the Commencement Date. If the Guest fails to pay the Rental Fee 90 days in advance, the Owner will keep 50% of the Deposit and re advertise the Holiday Home for the Holiday Period. The remaining 50% of the Deposit will be refunded to the Guest, via their original payment method.
21. If the booking is secured less than 90 days prior to the Commencement Date, then the Guest must pay the Deposit and Rental Fee in full to secure the booking. If the Guest then wishes to cancel the booking, they shall be subject to the relevant cancellation policy at clauses 34-40.
Full Terms & Conditions will be issued once booking form has been completed and deposit received.
