Surrounded by the Chablais mountains, this luxury south facing ski chalet is located just a few minutes from Chatel, midway between Abondance and La Chapelle d'Abondance. Just 75 minutes from Geneva you will have easy access to 650km of pistes of the Portes du Soleil and its fantastic resorts that include Champery, Avoriaz, Chatel, Morgins, Les Gets, Morzine and Torgon.

With great skiing and boarding on offer in the winter, and walking, climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, kayaking, rafting and fishing in the summer, the chalet provides a great base for either a winter or summer holiday in an environment where you can relax and enjoy the wonderful scenery.

Set across 3 floors with an area of 170 sq/m, this typical Savoyard style chalet includes a fully fitted oak kitchen with a separate utility room, a large open plan lounge and dining area that includes solid oak furniture and leather sofas, 6 bedrooms, three of them having en-suite bathrooms, and a separate family bathroom. In the open plan living room and dining room you will also find a wood-burning stove, a 32" TV, a DVD player , WI-FI, hi-fi system and a large oak table that seats up to 12. The property has central heating throughout to ensure the house stays warm during the winter months.

Outside you will find a large balcony and a gated terrace on the first floor. This south facing terrace is accessible from the lounge/dining room and has magnificent views overlooking the valley and River Dranse. There is a BBQ and a table with seating for 8-10, perfect for outdoor meals. There are also sun loungers allowing you to soak up the rays in the summer months. There is parking for up to 4 cars.

Although the chalet has good direct access from the main round it is not suitable for wheelchair. We welcome young children but please ensure they are supervised 24/7 due to the 2 balconies.

The chalet is just 30 mins from Lake Geneva and other spa towns that include Evian and Thonon in France and Montreux and Lausanne in Switzerland. For our golfing guests the nearest course is in Evian, and the mountain course at Villars in Switzerland is breathtaking.

Quietly situated off the main road the ancient village of Abondance is just a 2 min drive from the chalet or a 20 minute walk along the river bank. A must to see in this village is the 14th century abbey. The nearest town, Chatel, is appoximately15 mins by car.
