“Rural France with art tuition if desired”

I really enjoyed staying at this farmhouse just outside a tiny hamlet in a very rural area of France. The views of the Pyrenees are stunning and I found Paul and Asha to be very caring hosts. I spent my days with Paul in his studio or outside painting, drawing and talking art. I learned a lot during my time at Maison Ganesh and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a base in the Hautes-Pyrenees. If you, like me, are looking to improve your drawing and painting technique while enjoying Paul and Asha's hospitality, then it really is a great option. The surrounding area is full of charming villages and small towns and the regional gastronomy is known throughout France.

I've just returned from Maison de Ganesh which I found to be a very welcoming and comfortable base from which to explore the local area. Paul and Asha are very knowledgeable about the local area and were able to suggest lots of ideas for days out. Particularly enjoyable were trips to Auch and to the Pyrenees, where we spent the afternoon at Balnea, a thermal spa with wonderful views of the mountains. It is Indeed a friendly retreat in a very lovely part of France
