Solange welcomed us very warmly and was very responsive when necessary. Even though we had a nice stay at your place thanks to the outdoor amenities, we were generally disappointed with the condition of the east wing of the castle.
Indeed, the wallpaper takes off in a bedroom, the cleanliness left something to be desired, especially in the bathrooms (razor case of the previous tenants, cobweb or cobweb behind the furniture, impressive dust on the chandeliers, no kitchen equipment such as knives or peelers).
No chandelier is equipped with a coordinated light bulb, the general poor condition, the dust, the work that was in progress in one of the rooms, the supplement requested for late checkout while the rental was not rented after us etc... so many small details that spoil the stay a little.
Very unfortunate because the place is exceptional.

We had a great time here. The house is old and charming as can be seen form the pictures.
Plenty to see and experience in Normandy, but you will need to drive to everything. Grandcourt is a small village :-)
At times the pool was a little busy as we shared it with two other large parties in the other wing and in the cottage.

We spent a very nice time at Angela's place. Every room is equipped with its own bathroom, which is very appreciated for large gatherings. Decoration is nice and cosy, and in harmony with the atmosphere of a chateau. The different accommodations are well separated. The garden is large and well equipped for kids.

The castle is a very friendly residence. In a "period" decoration but with all the necessary amenities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.
The welcome was done by Mrs. Solange who was very nice and warm. We'll think about this place again for other stays!

We stayed in the east wing of the chateau and it was perfect for our needs as an extended family group. We felt it was safe for the children, aged 2 and 4, as the swimming pool is fully enclosed, with a self closing gate that can only be opened by an adult or older child. The pool is well maintained and kept very clean. As we had a toddler with us, we asked for a stair gate for the family room, which is located on the top floor, and this was provided for us. All in all, a perfect place for an extended family holiday.
