The Barn:

This beautiful old 1811 barn sleeps up to 8 guests in 3 bedrooms, and has been beautifully decorated to create a modern luxurious space. Situated only 1 km from the very popular Tremolat which has 5 great restaurants, including a michelin star restaurant at Le Vieux Logis and their Bistro also holding a michelin star.
The barn is also available to be used in conjunction with the cottage , which enables one to either rent as a single unit or together with the cottage. This means you may bring your family and friends or simply utilise the space on its own.  Each may be priced separately.

Accommodation:

A large well-equipped kitchen with Coffee Maker, Dishes & Utensils, Dishwasher, Kitchen, Microwave, Oven, Refrigerator, Stove and Toaster.

A large open plan living/dining area with satellite TV and comfortable seating for 8 people. 

It has 3 bedrooms one being an en-suite.  It offers a tranquil environment, charming French decor, a own private pool for those warm sunny days which overlooks a walnut orchard.

The Barn benefits from air conditioning upstairs (only), a fireplace, heating, fast internet and a washing/dryer machine.

LOCAL AREA:

There is much to explore in the Dordogne. The village of Tremolat is only a 20 minute walk has its own Boulangerie, a Pizzeria, a Bistro, a Wine Bar and a fabulous Michelin Star restaurant. Les Chouettes is within easy driving distance from Bordeaux, Sarlat-la-Caneda, Bergerac, Lalinde, Le Bugue and Perigueux, and is only 1 km from Tremolat village in the Dordogne valley of Aquitaine. 

Visit Sarlat for its wonderful market on a Wednesday and Saturday or simply enjoy the ambiance of this beautiful town.

Beynac Castle and its lovely village is worth a visit as well as a trip up the Dordogne River in a Gabarre(an old trade boat) What a great way to get an insight to the castles and chateaux of the area.

A visit to Les Eyzies is a must as well as a visit to the Lascaux Caves. These caves contain some of the oldest and finest prehistoric art in the world. The cave paintings, which mainly depict animals, are some 17,000 years old and seem to have a ritual purpose. For preservation reasons, the public may only visit a well-executed replica called Lascaux 2.
