Introduction
The Willows is the perfect retreat to discover what this beautiful area of France has to offer - The charming villages, exceptional history and gastronomy, or perhaps choose to relax on the loungers, tables and chairs and enjoy the pool and the vast gardens.
The swimming pool (10m x 5m) is for the exclusive use of the guests between the hours of 10:30am and 18:30pm and open from May to September (fenced).

The property has been fully renovated and would appeal to small families with its 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. The stone walls with its beamed ceilings add charm to this property with its traditional, fully equipped, kitchen, dining room and welcoming sitting room with TV, that give access to French TV channels and fibre WiFi.
In the local town of Saint Maurin there is a Pizzeria, bar and village shop with fresh bread and pastries which is in comfortable walking distance. This is enhanced by a small grocery and bread store also with café bar which is just 5 minutes away.
There are many amenities nearby , as an example in the town of Valence D’Agen, which is 20 minutes away with its supermarkets, all shops, café bars and restaurants. This is complimented by local day markets and night markets where you can sample a diverse range of food and drink as that added taste of French life.
The Accommodation:
The Willows Cottage is located a few steps from St Maurin.
Downstairs is the fully equipped Kitchen/Dining Room and Sitting Room with TV, Leading through to the Hallway with Bedroom 1 being set off at one end and at the other the Utility Room with the Master Bathroom with Walk In shower. Freestanding bath, Toilet and basin.
The stairs from the Kitchen leads upstairs to the Master Bedroom with en-suite c/w shower, toilet and washbasin. The Juliet balcony presents views over the garden/hills.
The cottage can accommodate up to 3 people of any ages fitted with TV and WiFi.
Outside there are 2 private terraces with Barbecue and patio furniture and other resting areas within the gardens.
Guests have one parking space for the duration of their stay. Guests have access to the gardens, pool and the tables set therein.
The property they rent will be exclusive to them for their privacy and enjoyment.
Any guest having special needs or additional facilities should enquire with us in the first instance to see if these may or can be made available.
There is free parking for 1 domestic vehicle (More spaces may be available on request).
Other things to note
There are charcoal fired barbecues with charcoal being available at the local shop or nearby supermarkets, etc. A welcome pack is included for guests and consists of essentials to welcome you for your stay baguette, milk, fruit juice, and local wine.

Saint Maurin is steeped in history with its Abbey dating back to the 6th Century. The area around Agen is also a rich source of history with its many exchanges in battles, famine, plagues. And its Roman, Nordic, Arabian, and English influences by Henri IV and Richard the Lionheart featuring the Hundred Year war. The bastide towns were further developments and the near by towns of Puymirol, Lauzerte, Roquecor, Moissac are great examples of this and the region features the majority of bastide towns in France.
The area is also rich in other attractions for the family ranging from aqua parks, walks, animal parks, karting, equestrian facilities, fishing, etc.
If you feel like morning coffee, lunch or that evening meal there are a great choice of lovely local towns to visit: Bourg de Visa, Beauville, Lacour, La Sauvetat de Severes, Roquecor, Puymirol, Lauzerte, ValenceD’Agen all around 20 mins away and its various street markets throughout the summer.

The area is serviced by good roads, a bus service and train services TGV at Agen (23Kms) and Valence d'Agen (12Kms) with the services to Paris (4hrs) and other network areas.
